Santa Visit: Tipperary golf club was delighted to welcome Santa for his annual visit.
Santa made a grand entrance by golf buggy up through the golf course. The club house was packed with many families all dressed up in festive gear. Magical memories were made with photos taken with Santa & Mrs Klaus.

Captain's Dinner: Captain’s Dinner a huge success at Dundrum House Golf & Leasure Club:
The story of the night must be that Dundrum House proprietors Jaff & Winnieanna Leo kindly donated all the money collected from those in attendance at our Captain’s Dinner to the charity of choice of outgoing President Paddy Fitzgerald and incoming President Jenny Lawrence. It must also be said that the proprietors of Dundrum House Jeff & Winnieanna Leo have consistently supported the many charities that our Golf Club organise.
The night belongs to the Captains Daniel Kennedy & Mary O’Donnell.
Both Captains in their address paid tribute to all who helped them to have such a wonderful and successful year as Captains.
They thanked their hardworking Committees, their families and all the people that work so hard to provide us golfers with such a wonderful facility that is Dundrum House and Leasure Centre is. They thanked Brien Webster and all his staff on the Golf Course and said their work is very much appreciated by the membership. They thanked our Golf Professionals Marian Riordan, Colin O’Gorman. They particularly noted the very welcoming atmosphere in the Golf Shop and in the Venue. The thanked all the staff in the Venue Clubhouse Restaurant under the management of Yvonne Heffernan for putting on such a wonderful dinner. They especially noted the exquisite decorative work on the Venue Restaurant by Winnieanna Leo and her family with the help of the Venue Staff. It all looked superb, well done to all concerned.
They paid very special tribute to the many sponsors who support our Golf Club on an ongoing basis, your support is very much appreciated.
Mary Lonergan got special mention for her work as Golf Secretary in the wonderful new Trackman Driving Range facility.
Lady Captain Mary O’Donnell thanked all the members of her hard-working committee. She thanked the officers of the Ladies Committee; Competition Secretary Caroline O’Dwyer, Treasurer Helena Ryan & her assistant Sheena Ryan, Secretary Judy Hayes, Handicap Secretary Frances Boyle assisted by Niamh Chadwick & Marie Graves.
Captain Daniel Kennedy thanked the individual members of his committee for all their work. He noted the officers who do such a fine job; Treasurer & MC at our prize giving each week, Michael Ryan, Competition Secretary Michael O’Grady Handicap Secretary Tony Corcoran, Liaison officer with course management Brian Slattery. Oisin Slattery for his work with the Junior Golfers.
He wished the incoming Captains Marie Graves & Danny O’Dwyer the very best for 2025.
On the night the Lady Golfer of the year presentation was made to Sheena Ryan by Lady Captain Mary O’Donnell & Captain Danial Kennedy made the presentation to the men’s golfer of the year Kevin McCarthy. Well done to both excellent golfers.
