THE Limerick minor hurlers played their first challenge of the year last weekend, drawing 1-18 with Clare.
Limerick minor hurling training panel got together last Sunday for the first time on the field of play when they took on their Munster neighbours Clare in a minor hurling challenge at St. Patrick’s field.
With Brian Ryan, Eamonn Cregan and Paul Finn still not settled on their championship panel for 2013 and for the next couple of weeks it will be a testing time for management and players to decide who will make the final championship panel.
Limerick were a goal behind following the opening thirty minutes of play 1-10 to 0-10 but in the second half both sides were neck and neck with scores but when Padraig Ryan got our only goal of the game midway into the second half, then both sides deserved not to lose this challenge game as it finished 1-18 each.
