LIMERICK’S Waterford Crystal Cup game next weekend has been confirmed for 11.30am on Saturday morning in Bruff.
Limerick play local Third Level side, Mary Immaculate College in the opening round game.
Mary I are managed by Eamonn Cregan.
The South Circular Road College, who are playing in the provincial competition for the first time have a strong local contingent.
Declan Hannon (Adare) and Mark O’Connell (Glenroe) both members of John Allen’s 39-man Limerick panel at present will be playing with the college side in next Saturday’s game.
Also part of the Mary Immaculate panel will be Robert O’Donnell (Pallasgreen), William Hickey (South Liberties), Stephen McDonnell (Mungret) and Patrickswell duo Lar Considine and Niall Carrig.
They will also be able to call upon a number of inter-county senior players; Conor Cooney (Galway), Brian O’Halloran (Waterford), John Conlon and Colm Galvin (Clare), Luke O’Farrell (Cork).
The winner of Saturday’s game in Bruff will advance to the quarter-final to play away to Tipperary.
