The final adult hurling championship final of the season takes place in Ballyagran at 1.30.

Twelve months ago Bruff were defeated by Croom in the County Junior B hurling championship final.

This Sunday the Tom Raleigh managed side are back in the final.

And, this time round they are bolstered by extra players like John Anthony Moran, Mike Weekes and Albert Shanahan (transferred from South Liberties).

Declan Reale, Ray Hourigan and Ian Hogan are some of their key players.

The south champions are eight games unbeaten in the championship - scoring 12-goals and conceding just two.

Mungret play their 11th championship game in Sunday’s final and are also unbeaten.

They have scored 21 goals enroute, conceding six.

Seeking a first ever Limerick JBHC title, they are managed by Maurice Reilly, Gerry McNamara, Pa O’Brien and John McKeogh.

Key players for the City champions will be captain Oisin Casey, Niall Long, midfielders Paudie Kirby and Stephen Dilworth and Denis O’Connor.

The winner will represent Limerick in the Killeedy run Munster JBHC.
