Limerick club St Kieran’s booked their place in the Munster junior club hurling final thanks to a 1-11 to 1-7 win over Kenmare Shamrocks.

Limerick club St Kieran’s booked their place in the Munster junior club hurling final thanks to a 1-11 to 1-7 win over Kenmare Shamrocks.

Played in Fitzgerald Stadium on Saturday, St Kieran’s led 1-5 to 1-4 at the break, their goal coming from Ian Mackessy four minutes before half-time.

St Kieran’s pulled clear in the second half with Donie Nolan posting seven points in total.

St Kieran’s now play Cork champions Kildorrey in the final on Sunday, December 9.
