THE LIMERICK Premier Minor Football Championship final takes place this evening in Knocklong at 8pm between Mungret St Paul's and Oola.
Mungret St Paul's edged past Fr Casey's 1-12 to 2-7 in the semi-final and Oola just did enough to get Monaleen in the other semi-final after extra time winning out 2-14 to 2-10.
Oola are backboned by Limerick minors Paddy Ryan and Jamie McGrath. Last year's Limerick minor footballers Daniel O Connell, Rory Mullins and Conor O Longaigh are all part of the city outfit.
Mungret St Paul's will look to go one step further than last year after coming up short in the Limerick Premier Minor Football Championship final in 2024.
Oola will face Monaleen next Thursday September 25 in round four of the Limerick Senior Football Championship in Rhebogue at 7:30pm. Meanwhile, Mungret St Paul's take on Ballylanders next Saturday September 27 in Bruff at 2pm in round four of the Limerick SFC.
