THE IRISH WIRE PRODUCTS Limerick senior football championship gets back underway this week. Six games take place across group one and two in the senior football championship on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
On Thursday evening, in group one Na Piarsaigh face Monaleen in St Patrick's GAA club grounds at 7pm. Monaleen defeated Rathkeale in round one, while Na Piarsaigh were comfortably beaten by Oola.
County champions Adare face Rathkeale in a local derby on Friday evening in Askeaton at 7pm, while Oola take on Fr Casey's in the final game in group one on Saturday evening in Kilmallock at 7pm. Adare cruised past Fr Casey's in round one and Rathkeale marked their return to the SFC with a defeat against Monaleen.

St Kieran's and Galtee Gaels open their Limerick SFC campaigns on Tuesday evening at 7pm in Ballyagran. Both sides will be back in action four days later. County semi-finalists Mungret St Paul's meet Galtee Gaels in Hospital on Saturday evening at 7pm. Ballylanders take on St Kieran's at the same time on Saturday evening in Ballyagran.
Meanwhile, 2023 county champions Newcastle West and Kildimo-Pallaskenry battle it out in a top of the table clash in group two of the SFC in Sean Finn Park, Rathkeale at 7pm.
Round three of the Limerick senior football championship will then take place on the week of the September 4.
