Limerick senior football team announced for Tailteann Cup final against Kildare

JIMMY LEE has name an unchanged Limerick senior football to take on Kildare in the Tailteann Cup final. The action gets underway at 2:30pm in Croke Park on Saturday. 

Limerick sharpshooter James Naughton and Emmet Rigter have both recovered from the injuries that forced them off during the Shannonsiders’ Tailteann Cup semi-final win over Wicklow. 

Jason Hassett, Darren O'Doherty and Mark McCarthy make up an unchanged full back line. Killian Ryan makes the move back to the half-back line where he is joined by Iain Corbett and Tony McCarthy.

Mungret St Paul's clubman Darragh O'Hagan and Tommie Childs continue their partnership in midfield. Captain Cillian Fahy, Paul Maher and Danny Neville are all named in the half forward line. James Naughton partners Emmet Rigter and Peter Nash in the Limerick full forward line. 

Limerick goalkeeper Josh Ryan will be aiming to make his mark once more with his trademark long-range frees.

Vice-captain Barry Coleman, along with Darragh Murray and Rob Childs, made valuable impacts off the bench in their side's victory over Wicklow in the Tailteann Cup semi-final. UL student Cormac Woulfe makes his return from injury this weekeend and Woulfe has named on Limerick's 26 man panel this weekend.
