LIMERICK booked their place into this year's Tailteann Cup quarter-final with a narrow 0-19 to 0-18 victory over Westmeath in O'Moore Park, Portlaoise on last Saturday afternoon.
James Naughton, Danny Neville and Emmet Rigter combined impressively scoring 0-13 between them in Limerick's first ever victory over Westmeath in competitive action.
The Shannonsiders finished top of group three winning all three of their group games against London, Antrim and Westmeath.
Jimmy Lee's side cannot face Westmeath or Antrim in the last eight of the Tailteann Cup. Limerick can face Offaly, Wexford, New York, Carlow, Sligo or Laois.

All four preliminary quarter-finals take place this weekend. Offaly face New York, Westmeath take on Laois, Wexford meet Antrim and Sligo host Carlow in the preliminary quarter-finals.
Sligo, Kildare and Fermanagh have advanced directly to the quarter-finals alongside Limerick. The quarter-finals of the Tailteann Cup take place on June 14/15.
