Limerick Masters Football squad
The Limerick Masters Football side end their 2024 season with a charity challenge game with Clare on December 28.
Anthony McCarthy’s charges play their near neighbours in aid of Regina House Palliative Care Unit in Kilrush. The game takes place at the Community Field in Kilrush at 1pm.
Announcing the game on their social media pages, the masters footballers said the following:
“Clare have been great supporters of our charity games for the past number of years and we are so honoured and delighted to be supporting Regina House.
“We are delighted to play our Clare friends for another amazing cause. Please get out and support this fantastic event.”
Anthony McCarthy was confirmed as the Masters Football manager for a third year at their recent AGM and is currently in the process of finalising his backroom team for 2025.
The Kilteely-Dromkeen clubman was at the helm in 2023 when Limerick earned All-Ireland honours with victory over Armagh in the Spirit Cup Final and also took charge of the team this season
