LIMERICK senior footballers have learned their opponents for next weekend's Tailteann Cup quarter-final.
Jimmy Lee's Limerick side will face a trip to Markievicz Park to take on Sligo for their last eight clash on Saturday or Sunday next. The GAAs CCCC will confirm dates/times/venues for the games later today.
Limerick secured their place in the quarter-finals of the Tailteann Cup with an impressive eight-point, 1-18 to 1-10, victory over Tipperary on Saturday evening in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale.
It was a third win on the bounce for Limerick in the competition following earlier group successes over both Offaly and London.
