Limerick's John Kiely among 11 nominees for the RTE Sport Manager of the Year accolade

LIMERICK'S All-Ireland SHC winning manager John Kiely is among 11 nominees for the RTÉ Sport Manager of the Year award.

Saturday December 17 on RTÉ One will see Jacqui Hurley, Evanne Ní Chuilinn and Ruby Walsh present the prestigious RTÉ Sport Awards 2022.

Awards being handed out on the night live in RTÉ Studio 4 in front of an audience of Irish sports stars include RTÉ Sport Sportsperson of the Year, RTÉ Sport Team of the Year, RTÉ Sport Manager of the Year and RTÉ Sport Young Sportsperson of the Year.

John Kiely previously won this accolade after the 2020 season.

Completing the list of nominees for the RTÉ Sport Manager of the Year are Zaur Antia (Irish Boxing team), Stephen Bradley (Shamrock Rovers), Brian Dowling (Kilkenny Camogie), Dominic Casey (Irish Rowing), Andy Farrell (Irish Rugby), Willie Mullins (Horse Racing), Eamonn Murphy (Meath LGFA), Ronan O'Gara (La Rochelle rugby), Jack O'Connor (Kerry football), Vera Pauw (Irish Women's Soccer).
