Limerick's Adare travel to London for All-Ireland junior camogie quarter-final

Limerick's Adare target All-Ireland junior camogie semi-final place

Munster junior camogie champions, Adare

LIMERICK and Munster champions Adare are in London this weekend to face Tara Camogie Club, of London, in the AIB All-Ireland Junior Club Championship quarter-final on tomorrow, Saturday.

The game, which will take place at McGovern Park, Ruislip, will throw-in at 12noon.

Should Adare win Saturday's fixture, they will face the Ulster representatives in the 2022 AIB Junior Club Championship Semi-finals on December 11 at 1pm.

Adare booked their place in the All-Ireland series when claiming the Munster title by overcoming Waterford’s Brickey Rangers 1-9 to 0-8 in the provincial final at Sean Treacys GAA grounds in Co Tipperary earlier this month.

Adare, who were captained to the provincial title by inter-county senior star Sophie O’Callaghan, were inspired by seven points from Caoimhe Costelloe and a Player of the Match display from Poppy Giltenane.

Adare had beaten Clare’s Tulla in the provincial semi-final. Adare were last month crowned Limerick intermediate champions.
