In Pictures: Limerick hurling fans flock to see inter-county stars in club championship ties

THERE was round one action across the top four tiers of the Limerick club hurling championship over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Just two weeks after All-Ireland SHC honours in Croke Park, large crowds attended all games across Limerick to see their hurling heroes up close - often defying the wet conditions.

Photographer Keith Wiseman was at Na Piarsaigh v Doon in Claughaun and Brendan Gleeson was at Kilmallock v Patrickswell in Newcastle West for the Limerick Leader.
