SUPPORTERS turned out in force for the Irish Wire Products Limerick senior football championship clash between Newcastle West and Kildimo-Pallaskenry on last Friday evening in Sean Finn Park, Rathkeale.
Newcastle West cruised to a 4-8 to 0-4 victory over Kildimo-Pallaskenry in round two of the Limerick SFC. Title chasing Newcastle West made light work of a young and understrength Kildimo Pallaskenry – as Iain Corbett’s hat-trick of goals powered them to a second win of the campaign.
A large majority of players who played last week will be back out in action for their clubs in the senior hurling championship this week.
Newcastle face St Kieran's next and Kildimo-Pallaskenry take on Mungret St Paul's in round three on the week of September 4.
