Junior A Hurling: Our Junior A hurlers played Claughaun in wet conditions on Sunday evening. Ballybricken started well and went 3 points up before a long range ball from Claughaun found the net to level things. Dan Owens after starting well with a nice point was forced off through injury after only 15 mins. Despite this, Bally dug in with points from Colm Teefy, Dan McGuire and Sean Teefy before a great score from out the field from David Ryan saw the teams head in all square at half time. The second half was a physical encounter and scores were hard fought. Cathal O’Neill and Dan McGuire edged Bally ahead before a long direct ball from Jack Owens fizzed into the top corner. Claughaun kept the scoreboard ticking with frees and with only a couple of minutes to go edged a point ahead. Bally rallied well though and Niall Martin’s shot for a point hit the crossbar but fortunately Colm Teefy was quickest to react and slotted over from close range to level the game.
Final score 1-11 to 1-11.

Pallasgreen took there early scores well and had a couple of points lead for most of the first half. Mark O’Dea and Eoin Lyons kept things tight at the back while Joseph Teefy managed to get onto plenty ball in midfield. James Hickey at centre forward showed he still had it coming back from a long term injury and put over some great scores from range. Pallasgreen went in at halftime 3 points ahead. Ballybricken came out well in the second half, Shane O’Neill was clinical on the frees while Tadgh Browne and Cillín O’Brien stormed into the game. With 5 to go had the gap down to 2 points before a long ball from Pallasgreen took a fortunate bounce leaving their full forward to convert for a goal.
Final score Pallasgreen 2-15 B/B 0-14.

CRECORA-MANISTER
Junior HURLING: Crecora Manister 1-17, Tournafulla 1-18. The second round of the Premier Junior Hurling championship was played on Sunday and we were in action against Tournafulla at the Feenagh-Kilmeedy grounds. We were hoping to build on the point we gained in the first round. The previous encounter between the sides resulted in a one point win for us so we knew it would be a close game and so it proved.
There was very little between the sides in the first half as the teams traded points. We had 5 different players on the scoresheet in the first half with scores from Jack Dalton, Richard Murphy, Conor Kirby, Cathal O'Neill and Edwin Wixted giving us a slim half time lead on a scoreline of 0-8 to 0-7. We were unfortunate to lose Rory Hannan through injury just on HT whistle. Tournafulla turned the deficit over early in the second half and went on to dominate for a spell. They added a goal to stretch their lead to 8 points. At that point our lads dug deep and started to move the ball with greater urgency. Points from Cathal, the recently introduced Niall Conheady and Richard edged us slowly but surely back into the game. The introduction of fresh legs in Niall and Oisin O'Byrne also contributed as we brought the game back level with a cleverly worked goal from Richard when he gathered a cross field ball and skipped past the defence to plant the ball in the net. There was an exchange of points again with Edwin adding a vital score as both teams looked for the decisive score. Chances came at both ends but it was Tournafulla who added the final score. The final whistle sounded soon after. This was a cruel finish for the team who had given so much and recovered from a very difficult position to put themselves in contention to win the game. They have a break now for football championship and will be back in Feenagh in 2 weeks time to face Monagea in the 3rd Round. Squad Ger Kennedy, Rory Hannan, Colm Parnell, Tim Moloney, David Rickard, Thomas Shanahan, James Conheady, Conor Kirby Cathal O'Neill, Mark Shanahan, Jack Dalton, Edwin Wixted, Richard Murphy, Padraig Byrnes, Rian O'Byrne, Sean Keyes, Ned O'Meara, Niall Conheady, Oisin O'Byrne, Ciaran Cusack, Damien Kearney, Mark O'Keefe, Ciaran Humphreys.

U16 HURLING
Mungret St. Pauls 3-7 – Ballybrown 3-9
On a warm Monday evening, 4 August 2025 in Clarina, Mungret St. Pauls’ U-16 Division 1 hurlers put in a spirited performance but narrowly fell short against Ballybrown in a closely fought clash. Ballybrown made the brighter start, opening with two points from play inside the first eleven minutes. Mungret St. Pauls got off the mark at 12 minutes with a well-taken point from play, but Ballybrown struck a blow less than a minute later with their first goal.
The response from Mungret St. Pauls was immediate — at 16 minutes they raised a green flag of their own to level the contest again. A converted free at 19 minutes nudged Mungret St. Pauls in front for the first time, but Ballybrown finished the half strongly. Two more points and a goal in the 28th minute put the home side in control. Mungret St. Pauls closed the half with a point from play, but Ballybrown tacked on two late scores to lead 2-6 to 1-3 at the break.
Ballybrown added to their lead immediately after the restart, but Mungret St. Pauls answered with a point from play. The task got steeper when Ballybrown struck for their third goal at 8 minutes, pushing the gap to eight points.
Refusing to wilt, Mungret St. Pauls kept the scoreboard ticking with a free on 15 minutes, before the game swung back in their favour. Two goals in quick succession — the first at 18 minutes and another just three minutes later — brought Mungret St. Pauls right back into contention, cutting the deficit to just a point.
Ballybrown steadied themselves with a point from play, but Mungret St. Pauls kept pressing, adding a point from play and a free in the closing minutes. Despite their late surge, the equaliser proved elusive, and Ballybrown held on for a narrow two-point win.
It was a match of momentum swings, with Mungret St. Pauls showing determination to fight back from a sizable second-half deficit. The three goals were a testament to their attacking threat, but Ballybrown’s early scoring bursts proved decisive. Mungret St. Pauls can take heart from their resilience and will look to build on this performance in their next outing.
JUNIOR B HURLING: Mungret St. Pauls’ Junior B hurlers welcomed Monaleen to Mungret on Monday 4 August 2025 for a lively City Championship clash. The home side settled into the contest with early scores from placed balls, showing composure in front of the posts.
Monaleen, however, were quick to make their mark with a series of well-taken goals, forcing Mungret St. Pauls to work hard to stay in touch. The opening half saw the visitors enjoy purple patches, finding the net several times despite determined defending from Mungret St. Pauls. The hosts kept the scoreboard moving through accurate free-taking and patient build-up play, but it was clear a big second-half push would be needed.
After the break, Mungret St. Pauls came out with renewed energy, dominating much of the play and racking up a string of points from both play and frees. Their work rate around the middle third improved significantly, with strong tackling and clever distribution creating scoring chances.
Despite this spirited second-half surge, Monaleen continued to pose a constant threat in attack, converting their opportunities clinically. Mungret St. Pauls battled right to the final whistle, closing the game with a flurry of well-taken points, but it was the visitors who emerged victorious after an entertaining encounter.
UMPIRES: Well done to Limericks Donnacha O'Callaghan who refereed the Intermediate Camogie final between Offaly and Kerry in Croke Park on Sun 10 August assisted by Mungret St. Pauls' Seamus Hayes, Donnie Browne & Joe Browne along with Mike Maloney.
SENIOR HURLING:Mungret St. Pauls 2-18 – Adare 1-21
Mungret St. Pauls’ senior hurlers produced a gutsy second-half comeback to earn a share of the spoils against Adare in a thrilling championship encounter in Clarina on Wednesday 6 August 2025.
Adare were quickest to settle, striking the opening four points without reply in the first eleven minutes. Mungret St. Pauls eventually got on the board shortly after, but the opposition continued to press, moving further ahead before Mungret St. Pauls began to find their rhythm.
A goal on the 20-minute mark injected fresh energy into the Mungret St. Pauls attack and was quickly followed by a brace of points, cutting the gap to just two. Both sides exchanged scores before the break, with Mungret St. Pauls finishing strongly to trail by only a single point at half-time. Mungret St. Pauls 1-7 – Adare 0-11
Mungret St. Pauls started the second half brightly, rattling off four unanswered points to take the lead for the first time. The game then turned into a tit-for-tat battle, with Adare levelling and edging ahead again through a series of accurate placed balls and points from play.
The sides were evenly matched for much of the half, but a crucial Adare goal midway through the period looked to have swung the game their way. Mungret St. Pauls responded immediately with points to keep within touching distance, and as the clock ticked into injury time, they found their second goal to set up a grandstand finish.
With the final play of the match, Mungret St. Pauls added the levelling score, sealing a dramatic draw in a contest full of intensity, skill, and resilience from both sides. This second draw for Mungret St. Pauls leaves them with 2 points and currently sitting in third place on the table but there are still three more games to play.
PREMIER MINOR FOOTBALL: Mungret St. Pauls 1-11 Oola 1-7
Mungret St. Pauls’ Premier Minor footballers produced a composed and determined display in Oola on Wednesday 6 August 2025, coming from a narrow half-time deficit to claim a well-earned victory.
The visitors made a dream start, hitting the net inside the opening 15 seconds with a sharp finish from play. A well-struck point followed after five minutes, but Oola responded with a goal of their own at the eight-minute mark to level the contest.
The home side began to find their range, adding points from both play and a free, but Mungret St. Pauls kept pace through a mixture of placed balls and well-taken scores from open play. The closing stages of the half saw Mungret St. Pauls edge closer with two quick points in succession, leaving just a single point between the sides at the interval. Mungret St. Pauls 1-5 – Oola 1-6.
Oola struck first after the restart, but Mungret St. Pauls response was both patient and clinical. Two frees brought the sides level before the red and white found an extra gear in the final ten minutes.
Strong work in midfield and quick ball into the forward line yielded a string of scores from play, with Mungret St. Pauls outscoring their hosts six points to one in the second period. The defence also stood firm, restricting Oola to just a single point after the 5th minute of the half.
By the final whistle, Mungret St. Pauls had overturned the early deficit to secure a four-point win, capping off a disciplined performance that combined a fast start, resilient defending, and efficient finishing. This win sees Mungret St. Pauls hold their position in second place on the table with two more games to go in the group.
U-14 FOOTBALL: Mungret St. Pauls 2-12 – St. Kierans 9-6
Mungret St. Pauls’ U-14 Division 3 footballers made the trip to St. Kierans on Thursday evening, 7 August 2025 facing a home side who proved clinical in front of goal.
Mungret St. Pauls played with plenty of energy and creativity, moving the ball well and creating numerous scoring chances. The forwards combined for some fine points from play, and both of Mungret St. Pauls goals were well-worked moves that split open the St. Kierans defence.
However, the hosts were ruthless in attack, hitting the net on several occasions to keep a firm grip on the game. Despite Mungret St. Pauls strong scoring return – racking up twelve points alongside the two goals – the concession of multiple green flags ultimately left too much ground to make up.
To their credit, the Mungret St. Pauls players kept battling right to the final whistle, showing good teamwork and determination throughout. The experience will serve them well as they continue their development in the competition. This team are currently sitting in third place on the table having played four games with three games left to play.
INTERMEDIATE HURLING Mungret St. Pauls 1-9 – Cappamore 3-19
Mungret St. Pauls’ intermediate hurlers faced a tough evening in Caherelly on Saturday 9 August 2025 as a sharp-shooting Cappamore side took the spoils in this Championship encounter.
Mungret St. Pauls made a lively start, striking the opening two points inside as many minutes — one from play and one from a placed ball. Cappamore responded quickly, finding their range with a series of well-taken scores to edge in front.
Mungret St. Pauls kept the scoreboard ticking with frees and 65s, but Cappamore’s forwards were proving clinical, hitting points from play and raising the first green flag of the game just before the 13-minute mark. The goal spurred them on, and despite Mungret St. Pauls efforts to break up their rhythm, Cappamore continued to find space in attack, adding a second goal before half-time to establish a healthy advantage. Mungret St. Pauls 0-6 – Cappamore 2-11
Cappamore extended their lead early in the second period and struck for their third goal on nine minutes, giving Mungret St. Pauls a mountain to climb. The red and white kept battling, converting frees and another 65, before finally breaking through for their own goal midway through the half — a well-finished move that lifted the team.
Despite Mungret St. Pauls best efforts, Cappamore continued to pick off points from both play and placed balls, maintaining control of the game. Mungret St. Pauls added a few late scores, but the gap proved too great to bridge.
In the end, it was Cappamore’s clinical finishing and ability to convert their goal chances that proved the difference, though Mungret St. Pauls determination and refusal to give up were evident throughout.
NA PIARSAIGH
Senior Hurling: Na Piarsaigh 0-21, Ballybrown 1-10. Our senior hurlers got their first win of the championship against Ballybrown on Friday evening in a sunny Claughaun, getting their campaign rightly up and running following a draw in round 1 against Doon. We played with a slender breeze in the first half, taking a 6-point lead into the break. JJ Carey looked at home in the Claughaun field scoring 3 points with Keith Dempsey scoring 2 beauties from out on the right hand side, the second a carbon copy of the first. With 5 minutes to play, Mike Foley landed a huge one from his own 65. This followed a 10-minute barren period for both teams. Ronan and Downesy were both 100% from placed balls for the day. Kev converted 3 in the opening half with Ronan getting 2 long rangers.
Ballybrown brought a physicality to the first half that wasn’t to follow them into the second. While they had only scored 1 from play in the opening 30, they did have a shout of a penalty but for our full back line to sweep away. Adrian clocked 2 points in the second period, proving a terror for the Ballybrown backs all throughout the hour. He had a perfectly good goal disallowed for square ball in the first, after Daithí’s shot beat the keeper, but to be saved off the line by the Ballybrown corner back. Adrian pounced on the rebound. The ref's decision to disallow the goal was an unusual one considering Adrian raced in after the ball.
The second half was uneventful in many ways as our lads powered through their opponents. Following another solid night on the frees, Downesy would get 2 from play in the closing minutes to settle the tie. Ballybrown did get a goal close to the end following a blocked clearance. Shane saved their first attempt but for Aidan O’Connor to bundle the ball to the net.
Daithí Dempsey was awarded man of the match following his exceptional display from minute 1 to the final whistle. His link up play and work off the ball was immense, driving into tackles and causing havoc for the Ballybrown defense. It was great to see.
Team: Shane Dowling, Emmet McEvoy, Cathall King, Vince Harrington, Mike Foley (0-1), Ronan Lynch (0-4, 0-4f), Tommy Grimes, William O’Donoghue, James Finn, JJ Carey (0-3), Keith Dempsey (0-3), Daithí Dempsey, Kevin Downes (0-8, 0-6f), Will Henn, Adrian Breen (0-2). Subs: Sean Long, Wayne Kearns, Dylan Lynch.
Intermediate Hurling: Na Piarsaigh 1-13, St. Kieran’s 0-11
It was probably not the greatest hurling spectacle on Sunday afternoon between ourselves and St. Kieran’s in round 2 of the intermediate championship, but we claimed the win and that’s all that matters at the end of the day. After a cagey first half we would go in 2-points to the good at half time, Evan Sweeney registering our only score from play, Pa O’Neill converting 6 frees. We would lose Mark Hogan early on following a head injury. He was replaced by Josh Sheehan. Alan Dempsey would then be withdrawn at half time with a pinched hamstring. Evan Gilvarry came on for him.
We scored 4 unanswered points at the start of the second with Eoin Brosnan racing through the middle, directly from the throw-in to dart one over from 30 yards. Kevin Daly clipped one over before Marcus Hogan pointed 2-in-a-row. That put us 6 ahead before St. Kieran’s gathered their bearings and reeled us back in. On the hour, there was a point between the sides with the ball coming out easy enough from the St. Kieran’s defense. Their keeper won a free out following a Kieran Daly foul but for their net minder to retaliate and shove our man after the whistle. Ball thrown in, won by a Na Piarsaigh man, and coolly popped over the bar by Kevin Daly. That put us 2-points to the good but there was still time for our opponents to respond. We survived some shaky moments at the back and managed to get the ball back up to the St. Kieran’s goal. Sub Kieran Daly gathered possession inside the 21, heading for goal. He slipped the ball low past the keeper in what looked to be wide of the posts but for it hit a divot and sneak inside the right-hand upright. That put us 5 up and the game settled.
Team: Evan Condon, Ronan Benson, Mark O’Connor Padraig Heaney, John O’Keeffe, Gordon Brown, Adam Fitzsimons, Dean McLoughlin, Eoin Brosnan (0-1), Kevin Daly (0-2), Pa O’Neill (0-7, 0-6f), Evan Sweeney (0-1), Marcus Hogan (0-2), Alan Dempsey, Mark Hogan. Subs: Josh Sheehan, Evan Gilvarry, Jack McCarthy, Kieran Daly(1-0).
Junior C Hurling: Na Piarsaigh 3-15, Kilteely Dromkeen 0-7. Our junior C hurlers maintained their 100% record following a comprehensive win in round 2 of the championship on Sunday evening. We had a great support with many making the lengthy trip over from our intermediate’s victory in Askeaton. We got off to a blistering start with Ben O’Regan rattling the net inside the opening minutes. Colm Downey registered 2 more goals in the opening half, one from his stick, and another from his boot, to put us firmly in the driving seat. Adamm Hallihan and Cian Brosnan also added their names to the scoreboard in the opening 30. Our younger crew really drove it on for Na Piarsaigh on Sunday evening, bringing great energy to the performance. Thomas Fitzgerald and team captain Leon Power got on the world of ball in the half forward line, with Tadhg Mullane proving a handful for our opposition at midfield. Gareth Airey would be introduced at the break to score a neat point, with Shane Downey getting himself into some excellent scoring positions but for post and the keepers hurley denying him on 2 occasions. A solid evening’s work for our lads, although sterner tests await.
Team: Conor Stack, Jason Ronan, Neil O’Gorman, Cathal Hassett, Brian Hartnett, Aidan Hennessy, Brian Buckley, Tadhg Mullane, Cian Brosnan, Leon Power, Gordon Leonard, Thomas Fitzgerald, Adam Hallihan, Colm Downey, Ben O’Regan. OLD CHRISTIANS
Junior Hurling Championship: Our junior hurlers secured a narrow but hard-earned win in the County Junior A Hurling Championship, edging Kildimo Pallaskenry 4-14 to 3-16 in a tense clash at Ballybrown.
The Rathbane side made a strong start, with early points from Glenn Hannon, Aaron Noonan, and vice-captain Dylan Blackhall, whose sharp finishing proved decisive. Blackhall bagged the first goal, quickly followed by Noel Bulger, as Old Christians took control. But Kildimo Pallaskenry hit back with two late first-half goals, leaving just two points between the teams at the break, 2-8 to 2-6.
Regrouping after halftime, Christians pushed on. Dean Murray struck an important goal before Blackhall grabbed his second, capping a superb personal tally of 2-6. Kevin Howard, deployed in the forward line, added two neat points, while Ian Coates chipped in with another.
Despite a late surge from Kildimo Pallaskenry, who cut the deficit to a single point, captain Conor Madden and Jake Lonergan led a resolute defensive stand to see Old Christians over the line.

Inclusion Camp: It was a great honour to host the Inclusion Camp for the second year running, in conjunction with James Ryan and the Games Committee. Over the course of three fantastic days, the camp was filled with fun, energy, and community spirit.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Denise Deegan, as well as Vivien and Chloe Culbert, who kindly provided refreshments for all parents. Their support was invaluable, and these events simply wouldn’t be possible without their help.
PALLASGREEN
ALL IRELAND CHAMPION: After a string of near misses, Colin Ryan of Lough proudly reclaimed the prestigious M. Donnelly All-Ireland Poc Fada title, Corn Setanta, on the scenic Anneverna Mountains in County Louth on Bank Holiday Monday. Having previously won the title in 2021, Ryan edged out Offaly’s Cillian Kiely in a tightly contested competition, with two-time defending champion Fionán Mackessy of Kerry/Kilkenny finishing in third place. This latest triumph marks a remarkable achievement for Colin, who had finished as runner-up in each of the past three years. Just 24 hours earlier, he lined out for Pallas in the Limerick County Intermediate Hurling Championship, underlining his commitment and stamina across both local and national stages. The victory was made all the more special as it was celebrated in the company of his partner Grace and their son Fionn, along with extended family, friends, and club members. It was a proud moment not just for Colin, but for his club, his family, and his native Limerick. Colin is no stranger to national acclaim. A key figure in Limerick’s modern hurling success story, he was part of the team that won the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship in 2018. That same year, he etched his name into hurling history during the Allianz Hurling League Division 1 quarter-final against Clare, scoring the winning point in a dramatic sudden death free-taking competition, the first of its kind following extra time. His decorated playing career also includes, Munster Senior Hurling Championship (2019), National Hurling League (2019), All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championships (2013, 2014), Munster Minor Championships (2013, 2014), All-Ireland U21 Hurling Championships (2015, 2017), Munster U21 Championships (2015, 2017). Regaining the Poc Fada crown is a testament to Colin Ryan’s enduring skill, determination, and passion for hurling. His journey continues to inspire, and his latest success adds another proud chapter to an already illustrious career.
CLUB HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP: The Intermediate Hurlers still have to get off the mark following their second successive defeat in the championship, this time against Knockainey in sunny Kilteely last Saturday afternoon. A relatively lethargic first half showing didn’t help their cause as Pallas were behind 1-8 to 0-5. The second was to prove a bit more urgency, but the deficit was always going to be a factor. But infairness to the lads they showed great heart and determination to claw themselves back to within a score and recue the game, but the final whistle came too soon and left them rue what might have been. Knockainey came out the victors on a scoreline of 2-16 to 1-17. Team; T McMahon, D O’Dea, D Hayes, N McNamara, P Roche, C Ryan (1-3), K McMahon, T Hourigan (0-2), T Franklin, M McKenna (0-1), K O’Donnell, C McMahon (0-10), K Barry, A Cosgrave, P Phelan (0-1). Subs; D Murphy, R Corbett.

In a tight opening half Pallas led at the break by 0-9 to 0-6. The second half proved to be a great tussle, but two goals from Cathal O’Shaughnessy and Donnocha Looby were to be decisive at the finish as Pallas claimed the points by 2-15 to 0-15. Team; S Murphy, J McMahon, PJ Butler, C Roche, A O’Sullivan, A Greene, E Pearse, E O’Malley, L O’Dwyer, C O’Shaughnessy, S Pearse, ZM Ryan, A Ryan, D Looby, P Burke. LADIES FOOTBALL: Well done to the Junior ladies football team who had a fine win over Croom in the first round of the Limerick LFGA Junior A football in Pallas last Sunday morning. Played in wonderful morning sunshine, Pallas raced into a 3-4 to 0-3 first half lead. Croom came back into the game for the second period and it proved a very competitive tussle to the final whistle. After a fine game of football, the Pallas ladies came out winning by 4-10 to 2-7. Team; Rosin McCarthy, Ciara McNamara, Sarah Dillon, Ella Connolly, Niamh Mulcahy, Aine Dillon (1-0), Aoife Connolly, Sinead McGuinness (1-0), Aoife Purcell (0-1), Emily Franklin (1-2), Aine Looby (1-0), Cliodhna Ryan, Roisin O’Connell, Caoimhe Butler(0-6), Eabha Hourigan. PATRICKSWELL
SENIOR HURLERS: The Senior hurlers lost to Doon in their second Championship encounter. Patrickswell started brightly and matched Doon stride for stride in the opening stages. After ten minutes, the teams were inseparable at 0-4 apiece (John Murray 0-2, Aaron Gillane and Diarmaid Byrnes). Indeed Mark Carmody, Kevin O'Brien and Aaron Gillane put Patrickswell deservedly 0-7 to 0-6 ahead. Doon's response was ruthless and comprehensive as they plundered a goal and five points without reply. The East Men were now 1-11 to 0-7 ahead. Before the end of the first half, a pair of Aaron Gillane points were bested by three points from Doon. The half-time score was 1-14 to 0-9.
At the start if the second half, a Jack Kelleher point and three scores from Diarmaid Byrnes trimmed the deficit to 1-16 to 0-13. Doon were unfazed and put the game out of reach with a flurry of one goal and five points without reply. The arrears were now 2-21 to 0-13 before Jordan Higgins halted the spree with a point. Doon ended on a high note to secure their third goal and another brace of points. The final score was 3-23 to 0-14.
JUNIOR A HURLERS: The Junior A hurlers were unlucky to lose an enthralling match with Killeedy. Josh Carey's point was exceeded by three Killeedy points. Patrickswell went on a goal blitz as Andrew Carroll fired home a penalty and Seanie O'Brien added another. Killeedy focused on points and David Woulfe's point was sandwiched between four of theirs. After 20 minutes, the teams were level at 2-2 to 0-8. Andrew Carroll claimed another two points and Seanie O'Brien hit the net again, but Killeedy helped themselves to five additional points. The interval score was tied at 3-4 to 0-13.
Killeedy scored three straight points at the start of the second half, but Gavin Carey responded with Patrickswell's fourth goal. The teams were level with fifteen minutes left when Billy Earls 0-2, Dayle McDonagh and Andrew Carroll matched our opponents blow by blow. The scoreline was now 4-8 to 0-20. Two Billy Earls points give the 'Well a narrow lead, but Killeedy snatched the match with a salvo of two goals and two points to establish an unassailable six-point lead of 2-22 to 4-10. There was no comeback as Seanie O'Brien's late point was cancelled out.
JUNIOR C HURLERS: Patrickswell beat Kilteely-Dromkeen in our opening Championship fixture. In addition, we received a walkover from Murroe Boher.
JUNIOR C FOOTBALLERS: Our footballers face Ballinacurra Gaels away on Sunday August 17 at 7.00pm.
