The 2025 GAA All-Ireland hurling championship is set to come to a thrilling conclusion on Sunday as old foes Cork and Tipperary collide in a historic decider at Croke Park.
Remarkably, it's the first time these Munster powerhouses have met in an All-Ireland senior final, despite decades of fiery encounters elsewhere.
Cork are chasing their first Liam MacCarthy triumph in 20 years, while Tipperary are looking to reclaim the title they last lifted in 2019.
The sides have already met three times this year, with Cork holding a 2-1 edge, including a 15-point Munster win and a dominant League final performance. Tipperary, however, won the early-season League clash, and come into this game with momentum after a high-scoring run through the knockout stages.
Both sides have impressed en route to Sunday's decider, with Croke Park set for a blockbuster finale.
When and where is the final?
The All-Ireland hurling final takes place on Sunday, July 20 at Croke Park in Dublin.
What time is throw-in?
Throw-in is scheduled for 3.30pm, with Galway's Liam Gordon appointed as referee for the big game.
Where can I watch the match?
Live coverage begins on RTÉ2 and BBC Sport NI, while GAA+ will stream the game worldwide for international viewers.
Can I still get tickets?
Good luck with that. Tickets for the All-Ireland final are like hens' teeth, with plenty of Cork and Tipperary fans on the lookout for a last-minute ticket.
What are the odds?
The bookies have Cork as strong favourites at 2/5, with Tipperary priced at 11/4. A draw is 8/1, according to PaddyPower.
Have Cork and Tipperary met in an All-Ireland final before?
Surprisingly, no. Despite their rich shared history in Munster, this is the first time Cork and Tipperary will contest an All-Ireland SHC final.
What happened the last time they met?
The counties have already played three times this year. Tipperary won their Allianz League group clash, but Cork hit back to take the League Final by 10 points and the Munster round-robin game by 15.
Their last five championship meetings have been dominated by the Rebels, who have scored a whopping 15-106 in their last four games against Tipperary.
What's at stake?
Cork are aiming for their 31st All-Ireland title, and a first since 2005.
Tipperary are chasing their 29th title, having last won in 2019.
The winner will close the gap on Kilkenny's record haul of 36.
Cork are also hoping to complete the National League and All-Ireland double - something they haven't done since 1970.
