Laurel Hill Coláiste camogie squad that will play their All-Ireland senior semi-final this weekend
LAUREL HILL Coláiste have had huge success recently with their camogie team reaching an All-Ireland senior B semi-final.
Their camogie team will play have their All-Ireland semi-final this weekend, which will be played on Saturday, January 27 at 1pm in Clonlara GAA pitch.
In the semi-final Laurel Hill will face St. Raphael’s of Loughrea, who bring a huge tradition of Galway camogie with them. They have won several All-Ireland titles as a school in the 90’s.
Along the way they have beaten Tulla in the Munster semi and Loreto Fermoy in the Munster final.
Speaking about the achievement of reaching an All-Ireland camogie semi-final one of the coaching staff Kay Walsh stated "This is a huge achievement given that we are a small school, and our own camogie team is only in existence since 2020 (previously we were joined with Laurel Hill Secondary).
"We have players from a big spread of clubs in both Limerick and Clare, indeed they often compete against each other at county level!"
