The UL Fresher Hurling squad that played UCC earlier in the league
THE UNIVERSITY of Limerick's Fresher Hurling team are 60 minutes away from an All-Ireland League title this evening when they take on DCU in the decider.
Managed by Fedamore's Dave Clohessy, UL have won four games to reach the final, which will be played at Dublin City University's GAA grounds.
UL have seen off University of Galway, Mary Immaculate College and TUS Midwest in their group games, before beating UCC in the semi-final on November 21.
There are four Limerick players in the squad; Darragh Langan (Monaleen), Ewan Dillon (Effin), Jack Butler (Ahane) and Sam Hickey (Adare).
One of the biggest young talents in hurling, Offaly's Adam Screeney is also on the UL panel. Their game is being streamed live on the TG4 YouTube Channel and can be viewed live by clicking here. The coverage begins at 6.55pm.
