IT'S ANOTHER busy weekend of action within Limerick GAA with the hurling championships again taking centre stage. Top billing on Sunday are the Bon Secours Limerick SHC quarter-finals.

Doon play Mungret St Paul's at 2pm at the TUS Gaelic Grounds, while Ballybrown and Patrickswell face off in the second game at the Ennis Road venue. That has a 4pm throw-in.

It's also crunch time in the Lyons of Limerick Premier IHC with the final round of group fixtures taking place. Effin have already qualified for the semi-finals. Dromin-Athlacac, Bruff, Newcastle West and Blackrock will battle it out for the three remaining semi-final spots.
