Launch date confirmed for book remembering Limerick's 1973 win

A new book remembering Limerick's 1973 is set to be released.

THE LAUNCH of '1973 - Keeping The Dream Alive' book (The Story Of Limerick's Historic All Ireland Success 50 Years On) will take place on November 5 in the Woodlands House Hotel, the authors have confirmed.

Pre-orders for the book have already begun and they are expected to ship late next month / early November. This book has been in production since January to commemorate and celebrate the wonderful achievements of the victorious and fondly remembered Limerick hurling team of 1973.

It contains over 500 pages packed with original archive material plus a host of rare photographs, many of which have never been seen before - until now.

Authors, James Lundon, Liam O'Brien and Niall Deegan expect pre-orders to ship in late October/early November and a launch will be announced around this time frame in due course.

The net profits from this book will be shared between The Children's Ark University Hospital Limerick and Limerick Society St. Vincent de Paul.
