FR CASEY'S secured their second win of the round robin stages in Group 1 of the Irish Wire Products Limerick senior football championship when overcoming Oola 1-14 to 1-7 at Clarina.
A final five minute burst, which included 1-3 without reply, propelled Fr Casey's to the win on Saturday evening.
Eddie Stokes smashed home a superb goal in the third quarter, as Oola came back into the contest having trailed 0-8 to 0-4 at half time.
The Abbeyfeale men had points from Daniel Daly and Adam Fitzgerald in the opening half. Sub David Ward netted on 59 minutes while three further points condemned Oola to a third consecutive loss.
Fr Casey's will now take on St Kieran's on this Thursday, August 24, in Newcastle West at 6:45pm
Oola will be hoping to register their first win when facing Claughaun on this Saturday, August 26, in Caherconlish at 6:00pm.
