THE REDEVELOPMENT of Mick Neville Park in Rathkeale took another step forward recently with the roof going on the new stand at the venue.
The roof installation is the latest step in the Rathkeale development with over 700 seats already installed. The next phase will include four dressing rooms and a gym.
It is hoped that this part of the development will be completed by the last weekend in October," said Limerick secretary, Mike O'Riordan, at the August County Board meeting that was held on Tuesday evening.
Delegates were also informed that Limerick GAA cleared over €200,000 from three fundraising events; the annual Golf Classic, and the All-Ireland final preview nights at the Woodlands House Hotel and Castletroy Park Hotel.
The meeting was also told that the TUS Gaelic Grounds is currently closed due to ongoing pitch maintenance but will be ready for the Limerick SHC quarter-finals in early October.
