Diarmuid Mullins has left his role as Limerick U20 hurling manager.

LIMERICK GAA are beginning the search for a new U20 hurling manager after it was confirmed at the August County Board meeting that Diarmuid Mullins would not be staying on in the role.
Mullins had a three-year term as U20 manager and won the Munster title last year, before losing the All-Ireland final by a point to Kilkenny. He also led Limerick to the provincial decider in 2021. Limerick failed to it out of the round robin phase this year.
It has also been confirmed that the rest of his management team: Tommy Quaid (Effin), John Meskell (Ahane), Brian Murray (Patrickswell) and Richie Flannery (Nenagh) have also departed their roles.
Mullins took over the U20 side following a successful spell as Limerick minor manager that yielded back-to-back Munster titles. The search for Mullins' replacement will commence in the coming weeks.
