Croke Park All-Ireland semi-final dream for young Limerick GAA star

Limerick student to play in half-time game at Croke Park

Aaron O'Brien from Casherconlish, who will be playing in half-time game

LIMERICK student, Aaron O’Brien, will be playing in Croke Park at half-time during the Derry versus Kerry game this weekend.

Aaron who has recently finished sixth class in Caherline National School, Casherconlish, has been selected to play in the GAA INTO Exhibition game which will be held during the break in this Senior Football quarter-final.

The players are chosen from the winners of the mini seven’s County Finals across the country in which Caherline National School won in the Limerick region.

As Kerry and Derry are playing each other in the Senior game, the half-time teams will be wearing the same county colours to mimic this.

Through the Munster connection, Aaron will play on the Kerry side against students from the North of Ireland through the Derry side.

The Kerry v Derry game will take place on Sunday, 16 at 4:00pm.
