Limerick v Galway All-Ireland semi-final - All you need to know

LIMERICK face Galway in Saturday's All-Ireland hurling semi-final aiming to become the first Munster team in modern times to reach the final for a fourth successive year.

John Kiely's men are 70 minutes away from that final but face a Galway side that will be gunning for revenge after losing to Limerick at this stage in twice in recent times. Below is all you need to know ahead of Saturday's huge game.

Time and Venue: The game has a 6pm start on Saturday at Croke Park.

Tickets: Plenty of tickets remain on sale via Ticketmaster. Tickets are available in the Hogan Stand, Davin Stand and Hill 16. A crowd of between 50,000 - 60,000 is expected to attend the game at GAA HQ.

TV: If you can't make it to Dublin, the game is been shown live on RTÉ TV and on BBC.

Hawkeye: The GAA's score detection system was stood down for Sunday's double header of All-Ireland football quarter-finals last Sunday but it is expected to be back in operation for Saturday's hurling semi-final. It was not used after an error in the game between Armagh and Monaghan. 

Referee: Wexford's James Owens will be the man in the middle for the game. Owens most recently refereed Limerick in their Munster round robin fixture with Cork. He was also in charge when Limerick and Galway met in the 2018 All-Ireland final.

Camogie: The All-Ireland camogie quarter-final between Antrim and Tipperary also takes place at Croke Park on Saturday. This game is on before the hurling semi-final and throw-in is at 3.30pm. 

Bookies Odds: Limerick are firm favourites with the bookies to make it into this year's All-Ireland final. Kiely's men are also odds on to win a fourth All-Ireland on the bounce with some bookies ahead of Saturday's fixture with Galway. Aaron Gillane is also favourite to land the Hurler of the Year gong.
