Mullins confirms Limerick U20 side to take on Waterford in Munster opener

LIMERICK'S U20 hurling manager Diarmuid Mullins has named his team that takes on Waterford at Fraher Field, Dungarven in their Munster Championship opener on Wednesday.

Mullins has included senior players Adam English and Shane O'Brien. Newcastle West's Ethan Hurley will captain the side from wing back.

Ballybrown's Josh O'Reilly is named in goals with a full back line of Ronan Lyons, John Fitzgerald and Evan O'Leary picked in front of him.

Cian Scully takes up the centre back position with Hurley and David Fitzgerald in the wing back places. Barry Duff and English are paired in midfield.

Patrick O'Donovan, the team vice-captain, is named at centre forward with Fintan Fitzgerald and John Kirby in the half forward positions. O'Brien is joined in the full forward line by Con Hayes and Adam Fitzgerald.
