Tenth anniversary of Castletroy Park Hotel's sponsorship of UL GAA Club

THE Castletroy Park Hotel are celebrating their 10th anniversary sponsoring University of Limerick GAA club.

During that time, UL Wolves GAA club has grown from a few hundred members, to over a thousand, with 20 teams competing across hurling, football, ladies’ football, and camogie.

UL GAA’s Chairperson John Campion said: “Over the last decade, UL GAA has enjoyed unprecedented success winning more inter-varsity titles than any other 3rd level institution. It has been in no small way due to the sponsorship from Castletroy Park Hotel and its owners, Pat and Una McDonagh.

The Club would like to thank Pat, Una and the Hotel for the years of successful sponsorship, and we look forward to challenging for more silverware in the coming months,” he said.

” We have been sponsoring UL GAA for 10 years now and have seen many great players take to the field wearing the famous UL jersey,” the owner of the Castletroy Park Hotel, Pat McDonagh, said.

“The University has had tremendous success in the O Connor, Ashbourne, Fitzgibbon and Sigerson Cups and we are looking forward to a competitive and successful season across all the codes this coming season.”
