A community event is set to take place in Adare to offer locals the opportunity to learn more about the natural and cultural heritage of the River Maigue
THE Maigue Rivers Trust is inviting local residents, community groups and families to a special community evening next week in Adare.
It will take place in the Fitzgerald Woodlands Hotel on Monday, October 20 at 7.30pm. This free event will feature engaging talks and an opportunity to learn more about the natural and cultural heritage of the River Maigue.

Historian Paul O’Brien will share insights into the social and environmental history of the river, exploring its role in shaping local communities. Attendees will also hear about community involvement with the upcoming Ryder Cup, showcasing how people across the region are working together to shine a spotlight on Limerick.
