Limerick village's garden day growing in popularity

Biologist and presenter Eanna Ní Lamhna is one of the speakers

Birds, bees, bats, planes and portraits in Portlaoise for heritage week

Eanna ní Lamhna will be in Broadford on Saturday

THE BROADFORD Garden Day takes place this Saturday, May 18 at the local community centre from 9.45am to 5pm.

Guest speakers include Eanna Ní Lamhna at 12 noon and Carl Wright at 2pm.

There will be lots of demonstrations, plant stalls and craft and food stalls.

There are six speakers in total on topics including planting summer pots and planting vegetables and herbs in containers.

Children's entertainment is also provided. Admission is €10.
