Deaths in Limerick - April 23, 2018

The death has occurred of Former Post Mistress Mary Butler (née Bresnan), St Michael's Nursing Home, Caherconlish and former Post Mistress, Herbertstown, peacefully at St. John's Hospital.

Loving wife of the late George. Survived by her sister Hannah (Meade), brother Niall, nephews, nieces, godchildren and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Davern's Funeral Home, Hospital, Co. Limerick, this Tuesday 24th April 2018 from 5.30pm followed by removal at 7pm to the Sacred Heart Church, Herbertstown. Funeral Mass on Wednesday 25th April 2018) at 11.30am, followed by burial in Ballinard Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Michael (Nokker) Hanley, Downey Avenue, Garryowen, late of Clover Meats and St Mary’s Pidgeon Club, peacefully at Milford Care Centre. 

Brother of the late Frances and Jude. Very deeply regretted by his sons Robert and Noel, daughters Jackie, Michelle and Linda, sisters Claire and Hilda, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, all other relatives and friends.

Reposing Wednesday at Cross Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, from 5pm to 6.30pm Followed by removal to St John’s Cathedral.Requiem Mass Thursday at 11am with cremation afterwards to Shannon Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Milford Care Centre.

The death has occurred of William (Bill) Kiely, Lottera, Bruree, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.

Beloved husband of Kathleen and dear father of Breeda, Deborah and David. Deeply regretted by his loving wife, son, daughters, brother Jimmy, sister Mary, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren Kiely and Jodie, great-grand-daughter Ada, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Hawe's Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5pm with removal at 7pm to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Bruree. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 10am. Cremation at Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon at 12 30pm. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to The McAuley Day Care Centre, Charleville.

The death has occurred of Patrick A. Molloy, Finvarra, New Quay, Clare and formerly of Corbally, Limerick, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. 

Pat predeceased by his sisters Mary Hennessy and Evelyn Kenny. Sadly missed by his loving wife Hilary (nee Quaid), daughters Joanne, Ruth, Kathy and sons Pat and Michael, sons-in-law Gary, Robert, Stefan and daughter-in-law Lisa. His sisters Joan Burke and Ann Brady. His brother-in-law and sister-in-law and all his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and pet Smudge.

Reposing at the Corless Funeral Home this Tuesday evening from 6 o’clock until 7.30 o’clock. Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Corbally, Limerick on Wednesday at 12 noon. Funeral after to Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery. Thanks to all who cared for Pat, both in hospital and at home. Family flowers only by request, donations, if desired, to The Irish Heart Foundation. House private by request.

The death has occurred of Patrick Moran, Roxboro Road and late of O'Malley Park, suddenly) in London.

Beloved wife of the late Dermot. Dearly loved mother of Anne and Michael. Sadly missed by her son-in-law Brian, brother Micheál, sister Freda, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends. May she rest in peace.

Reposing at St Paul’s Nursing Home, Dooradoyle on Tuesday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Removal to St Joseph’s Church, O’ Connell Avenue on Wednesday for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon with burial afterwards in Castlemungret Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Anne (Eva) Togher, O'Dwyer Villas, Thomondgate, late employee of Verbatim, Raheen, peacefully at UHL.

Sister of the recently deceased Mary. Deeply regretted by her sister Kathleen Fletcher, brother Noel Kearns, nephews, nieces, extended family circle & friends.

Reposing at Cross' Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Tuesday (April 24th) from 6.30pm followed by removal at 7.30pm to St. Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand. Requiem Mass Wednesday (April 25th) at 11am with funeral afterwards to Mount St. Lawrence (ext.) Cemetery.
