Deaths in Limerick - April 13, 2018

The death has occurred of Chrissie Collins (née McNamara) of Lisaleen, Patrickswell.

Deeply regretted by her son, daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and extended family.

Reposing at Downey's Funeral Home, Pallaskenry this Saturday from 5pm to 7pm with removal to the Church of the Blessed Virgin, Patrickswell.

Funeral Mass on Sunday at 3pm with burial afterwards in the old cemetery, Adare.

 

The death has occurred (suddenly in London) of John King of Ennis Road, Limerick. Formerly of Westfields.

Sadly missed by his brothers Willie and Maurice, sister Mary, sister-in-law Dulce, brother-in-law John, nephews Sean and Maurice, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass at 12midday on Monday (April 16) at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road. Burial afterwards at Springfield Cemetery, Broadford, West Limerick.

Donations, if desired, to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.

 

The death has occurred (peacefully at UHL) of Louise Egan of New Strand House, Ennis Road, Limerick. Late of Griffith Avenue, Ballinacurra Weston.

Very deeply regretted by her sisters Eileen and Joan, niece Margie, the staff and fellow residents of New Strand House.

Remains will arrive St. John's Cathedral on Saturday (April 14) for 10am Mass followed by burial in Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.

 

The death has occurred (peacefully) of James Hartnett of London, England and formerly of Bottomstown, Elton.

Brother of the late Pake, John, Mike and Joe. Survived by his loving wife Eileen and daughter Patsy, grandchildren Julie and Michael, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Davern's Funeral Home, Hospital, Co. Limerick this Sunday (April 15) from 6pm followed by removal at 7pm to St. Mary's Church, Knockainey.

Funeral Mass Monday (April 16) at 11.30am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

The death has occurred (peacefully) of Brendan Horan of Abbot Close Nursing Home and Retirement Village, Askeaton, County Limerick. Late of Washington Heights & Briggs Avenue, The Bronx, New York.

Deeply regretted by his loving sons Damien and Patrick, daughter Jefi’lyn, sister Ann, extended family and friends.

Requiem Mass will take place at 9.30am on Monday (April 16) at St. Mary’s Church, Askeaton, Co. Limerick with burial afterwards in Mount St. Oliver Cemetery, Limerick.
