Deaths in Limerick - March 30, 2018

The death has occurred of Eva Moloney (née O'Flynn),Duarigle, Newmarket, Co Cork, Belle Isle, Ballyagran, Kilmallock, very peacefully in the tender and loving care of the Matron and Staff of Beech Lodge Nursing Home, Bruree.

Eva wife of the late John, mother of the late Stephen and Theresa (Cherry) Cratloe, Co Clare. Very deeply regretted by her loving sons Charlie, Francis, Paul, Richard and Vincent, daughter Marian, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing this Sunday evening from 5.00pm at Bennis's Funeral Home, Ballyagran followed by removal at 7.00 pm to St. Colman's Church, Colmanswell. Funeral Monday after 12.00 noon Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Tommy Hannon, Clonile, Caherdavin, Limerick, formerly of St. Nessan’s Road, Dooradoyle, suddenly at his cousin Geraldine's home in Lissycasey.

Beloved son of the late Paddy and Peggy. Sadly missed by his loving sisters Eileen and Patricia, brother Michael, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnieces, cousins, extended family, his Brothers of Charity community and his friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Friday evening from 5pm to 6.30pm. Removal to St Paul’s Church, Dooradoyle on Saturday for Liturgical Prayers at 1pm with burial afterwards in old Mungret Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Geoff Jerome, Lower Gouig, Castleconnell, Co. Limerick and formerly of Reading, Berkshire, U.K, peacefully at Milford Care Centre. 

Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, daughter Marie, (predeceased by his son-in-law Noel Ryan), grandsons Darragh and Dean Lillis, brother Glen, sister-in-law Pam, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Meehan's Funeral Home, Castleconnell on Sunday, 1st April, from 5 p.m. with removal at 6.30 p.m. to St.Joseph's Church, Castleconnell. Requiem Mass on Monday, 2nd April, at 11.30 a.m., burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Castleconnell. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Milford Hospice and Motor Neurone Association.

The death has occurred of Mary MacAndrew (née Mitchell), Iona Drive, North Circular Road, formerly of Newmarket-on-Fergus, peacefully in her 96th year at Athlunkard House Nursing Home. 

Beloved wife of the late Tom. Dearly loved mother of Mary (McCarthy), Kathy (Wallace), Sheila (Ball) and nephew Pat. Sadly missed by her loving sons-in-law Niall, Kevin and John, Pat’s wife Caroline, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am with burial afterwards in Lemenagh Cemetery, Newmarket-on-Fergus. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland, Limerick Branch.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) O'Connor,Laurel Court, Dwyers Road, Midleton and Ballyorgan, Limerick, unexpectedly at The Mercy University Hospital, Cork. 

Beloved son of the late Paddy and Margaret. Sadly missed by his brothers Tommy and John, sister Margaret, sisters-in-law Josephine and Norma, nieces Michelle, Dee and Marie, nephew Derek, aunts, uncle, cousins, relatives, neighbours, his dear friend Patricia and a wide circle of friends.

Requiem Mass on Monday (2nd April 2018) at 1.00pm in The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Midleton, Co. Cork. Burial afterwards in Kildorrery cemetery, Co. Cork.(3.00pm to 3.30pm appox.)

The death has occurred of Pat O'Halloran (Paddy), Ballinacurra Gardens, peacefully at Milford Hospice. 

Dearly missed by his wife of 55 years, Sheila (Nee Toomey), son Gerard, daughters Patricia and Sinead, son-in-law John and grandchildren Paddy and Aisling. Deeply regretted by his brother’s Michael, Murty and Jody, sister Marie, extended family circle, Post Office colleagues, golf friends and neighbours and all who will miss him. Born October 1939, from Thomandgate and long time summer resident and lover of Kilkee, Co. Clare. 

Reposing at Milford Mortuary, Castletroy this Friday from 5.30pm to 7.00pm. Removal to St. Joseph's Church, O’Connell Avenue this Saturday for Funeral Liturgy at 10.30am with burial afterwards in St. Nessan's (Old Mungret Cemetery). Family flowers only, donations if desired to Milford Hospice or Cancer research. House private.
