Deaths in Limerick - March 11, 2018

The death has occurred of Nora Daly (née Kennedy), Duagh, Listowel and Fedamore, Limerick, in the excellent care of the staff and medical team of the H & H Ward St. James’s Hospital Dublin.

Nora, wife of the late Michael Joe; will be sadly missed by her loving family; Theresa & Peter, Tom & Joan, Frankie, Carmel & Tommy, her grandchildren Rain, Rose, Hannah, Michael, Jack, Lily, Rhiona & Jamie, her sisters Lily & Pauline, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends R.I.P.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale on Monday from 6.00 p.m. followed by removal at 8.00 p.m. to St. Brigid’s Church Duagh. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11.30 a.m. Burial afterwards in Springmount Cemetery Duagh.

The death has occurred of Bridget(Bridie) Hartnett (née Walsh), Upper Tournafulla, Co. Limerick and formerly of Scrahan Rockchapel, Cork, peacefully at St John's Hospital, Limerick.

Beloved wife of the late William (Willie) and sister of the late Michael. Bridie will be sadly missed by her loving sons Liam and Tony (Ahane), daughter Margaret Bourke (Manister), son-in-law Liam, daughter-in-law Noirin, grandchildren Seamus, Gearoid, Padraig, David and Emily, brothers John and Willie and sister Kitty, sisters-in-law June, Maire and Siobhan, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at St. Patrick's Church, Tournafulla, on Monday the 12th from 6pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am and burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Anne Kennedy (née Fahy), Birch Avenue, Caherdavin, late of Wolverhampton, England and Athlone, peacefully at home in the presence of her family.

Beloved wife of the late Peter & sister of the late Maura. Very deeply regretted by her loving sons Paul, Andrew & Stephen, seven grandchildren, two great-grandsons, daughters-in-law Gwen & Triona, sister Sheila (Coyle), brother Seamus, nephews, nieces, extended family circle & friends.

Reposing at Cross' Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Tuesday (March 13th) from 4.30pm followed by removal at 6.30pm to Christ the King Church, Caherdavin. Requiem Mass Wednesday (March 14th) at 11.30am with funeral afterwards to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired to, Milford Care Centre

The death has occurred of Angela (Annie) Kiely, The Park Nursing Home, Castletroy and Ballyagran, Limerick, peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff of Nenagh Hospital.

Very deeply regretted by her loving family, sister Sarah (Daly), niece Breda (O’Flynn) and her husband Jim, nephews Michael (Daly) & Thomas (Daly) and his wife Margaret, great-grandniece Sandra (O’Flynn) & great-grandnephew Martin (O’Flynn), great-great-grandniece Rebecca Jane (Mc Sweeney), great-great-grandnephews Michael (Daly) & Cathal (Mc Sweeney) and many friends.

Reposing at Bennis’ Funeral Home, Ballyagran, Monday (March 12th) from 6pm followed by removal at 7pm to St. Michael’s Church, Ballyagran. Requiem Mass Tuesday (March 13th) at 12 noon with funeral afterwards to Castletown-Conyers Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Jennifer Kiely (née Cusack), 27 Old Crossroads, Thomondgate, Limerick City, late of Irish Wheelchair Association, peacefully at Milford Care Centre. 

Very deeply regretted by her loving husband Eddie, children Eddie (Jnr.), Julie & Ronan, grandson Jake, granddaughter Zoey, mother Helen, sisters Veronica, & Lisa, extended family & friends.

Reposing at home on Monday. (Mar. 12th) from 6-8pm. Funeral arriving at Shannon Crematorium on Tuesday (Mar. 13th) for 3pm Service. Family Flowers only; donations if desired to Milford Care Centre.

The death has occurred of Celine O'Doherty (née Mc Loughlin), Rowan Court, Kennedy Park, peacefully in the tender care of the Shannon Ward, St. Camillus’ Hospital.

Beloved wife of the late Michael (late of SIPTU) and mother of the late Plunkett. Very deeply regretted by her loving son Eugene, grandchildren Barry, Dara, Jack, Andrew and Kirsten, great-granddaughter Amelia, daughters-in-law Karen and Caroline, brother Ollie, sisters Patsy and Anne, all other relatives and friends.
