THE death has occurred of Fr. Peter Byrne CSSR, Mount St Alphonsus, Limerick; the Philippines and Portrition, Kiltegan, Co Wicklow, in the loving and faith-filled care of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word and the staff of Carrigoran House, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co Clare.
Remembered with affection by his Redemptorist Community, his sister Mary, sister-in-law Monica, brothers-in-law Liam and Jackie, Teresa Leahy (Peter's long-time secretary and dear friend), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and a very wide circle of friends.
Reposing in Mount St Alphonsus on Wednesday, February 21st with removal to the Church at 6.45pm for Mass at 7.15pm; Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, February 22nd at 12 noon followed by removal to St Brigid's Church, Hacketstown (reception of remains at 7pm); Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 23rd at 12 noon, followed by burial in Hacketstown Cemetery. Donations instead of flowers to Carrigoran House.
The death has occurred of Anthony J. (Tony) O'Sullivan, Highfield, Ennis Road, Former President of Munster Association of Referees and late of UL Bohemian R.F.C, unexpectedly.
