Deaths in Limerick - February 14, 2018

The death has occurred of Stephen Casey, Lower Direen, Athea, peacefully in the loving care of the Staff of St. Ita’s Hospital.

Predeceased by his brother Tom, sisters Nora (Hassett) and Mary (Molly) White Deeply regretted by his loving brother Bill, sister Joan (Boylan), sister-in-law Peggy, nephews, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, other relatives, kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in Kelly’s Funeral Home, Athea on Friday (16th February) from 6p.m. to 8p.m followed by removal to St. Bartholomew’s Church, Athea. Requiem Mass Saturday at 12 noon in St. Bartholomew’s Church, burial afterward in Holy Cross Cemetery, Athea. Family flowers only please - donations in lieu to Friends of St. Ita's.

The death has occurred of Margaret Foley (née Holland), Milltown, Askeaton and Abbot Close.

Wife of the late Jimmy. Deeply regretted by her sons Noel, John Joe, Paddy and Frank, daughters Kathleen, Mary Cregg, Ann Walsh and Teresa Carrig, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family.

Reposing at Kieran Madigan's Funeral Home, Askeaton Thursday from 5.30pm. Removal at 7.30pm to St. Mary's Church, Askeaton. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon burial afterwards in Lismakeera Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

The death has occurred of Michael Heffernan, 4 Millmount, Kilmallock, suddenly at his home.

Michael, husband of the late Margaret. Very deeply regretted by his loving daughter Caroline, sister Tessa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, kind neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing this Friday evening from 6.30pm at Daffy's Funeral Home, Kilmallock followed by removal at 7.30 to SS Peter & Paul's Church, Kilmallock. Funeral Saturday after 12.00 noon Requiem Mass, with burial afterwards to the local cemetery.

The death has occurred of Mildred Patricia Kladde (née Ward), The Park Village, Castletroy, late of Donegal, Dagenham UK & USA peacefully in University Hospital Limerick. 

Very deeply regretted by her loving children John, Linda & Robert, her sister Joan & family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Funeral arriving at Sacred Heart Church, The Crescent, O’Connell Street on Friday (Feb. 16th) for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial after in Kilmurry Cemetery, Castletroy.

The death has occurred of David (Dave) Lynch, Banogue, Croom, peacefully in the great care of all the staff of 3D of UHL. 

Beloved husband of the late Mary. Sadly missed by his sorrowing sons Kevin (retired Detective Superintendent, Leixlip) and Mark, daughter Maura, loving grandchildren Andrew, Robert, Alyson, Cian, Aoibheann, Yvonne and Caoimhe, sisters Anna (McMahon, Kildimo) and Phil (Rhodes, Arizona) daughters-in-law Bernadette and Nessa, son-in-law Frank, nephews, nieces, his wonderful carer Joan, relatives, kind neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at Daffy's Funeral Home in Croom on Thursday from 6pm with removal at 7.30pm to St Peter and Paul's Church in Banogue. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Patrick Joseph (P.J.) Mullins, Raheen Gardens, Raheen and formerly of Keyes Park, unexpectedly at University Hospital Limerick.

Deeply regretted by his wife Brid, daughters Claire, Mariann & Valerie, son Patrick, grandchildren Kieran, Aisling, Dean, Craig, Vijay, Aoife, Sophie & Emily, great-grandaughter Isobel, daughter-in-law Shirley, brothers, sister, extended family circle & friends.

Reposing at Cross' Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Friday (Feb. 16th) from 5pm followed by removal at 6.30pm to St. Nessan's Church, Raheen. Requiem Mass Saturday (Feb. 17th) at 11am with funeral afterwards to Castlemungret Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired to, the Parkinson's Association, Limerick branch.
