Deaths in Limerick - January 31, 2018

The death has occurred of Dan Dillon, Deerpark Road, Cashel, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Grange, Bruff, Co. Limerick, peacefully at South Tipperary General Hospital. 

Dan (retired Garda Siochana). Deeply regretted by his loving wife Una, son Paul, daughter Barbara, son-in-law Alan, daughter-in-law Frances, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Devitt’s Funeral Parlour on Friday evening from 5.30pm with Removal at 7.30pm to St. John the Baptist Church, Cashel. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon followed by Burial in Rosegreen Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Mary Grant (née Harrington), Sheares Avenue, Kilmallock, very peacefully at University Hospital Limerick. 

Very deeply regretted by her loving and wonderful husband Eugene, daughters Margaret and Lorraine, sons-in-law Brian and Tony, sister Nora, brother Mossy, grandchildren Christopher, Dylan, David, Kelley, Alanah, Zoe and Aoíbhínn, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, kind neighbours and a large circle of Friends.

Reposing on Friday evening from 6.00pm at Daffy's Funeral Home, Kilmallock, followed by removal at 7.30pm to SS Peter & Paul's Church, Kilmallock. Funeral Saturday after 12 noon Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in Tankardstown Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Sara Mangan-Curd, Toureen, Croom, late Shanagolden and Celbridge, peacefully in the wonderful care of all the staff at St. John's Hospital Limerick. 

Predeceased by her sisters Marjorie, Sr. Cecelia LCM, Alice, Kitty and Mary. Brothers, John, Joe and Denis. Sadly missed by her devoted husband Frank, sisters Claire, Betty and Angela and brother Peter. Sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, her kind neighbours and her wonderful friends including those in the greyhound industry.

Reposing this Thursday evening at Daffy's Funeral Home, Croom from 6 with removal at 8 to St. Peter and Paul's Church, Crecora. Funeral on Friday after 12 noon Requiem Mass to the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to St. John's Hospital, Limerick.

The death has occurred of Anthony (Tony) Ryan, Knockatanna, Caherconlish and late of Shannon Banks, Corbally, peacefully at Milford Care Centre. 

Deeply regretted by his wife Mary, brothers and sisters, all other relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Ballyneety on Friday from 6pm with removal at 8pm to Our Lady Mother of the Church, Caherconlish.Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Inch St. Lawrence Cemetery.

The death has occurred of William (Bill) Broderick, Ardgoul, Askeaton, peacefully at UHL. 

Reposing at Magner's Funeral Home, Rathkeale this Tuesday evening from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by removal to St. James' Church, Cappagh. Requiem Mass tomorrow, Wednesday, at 11.30am with burial afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Rathkeale.
