Deaths in Limerick - January 25, 2018

The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Breen, Barnagh, Newcastle West.

Survived by wife Eileen, sons Gerard, Seamus and Maurice, brother Br. Albert, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Riedy's Funeral Home, Newcastle West on Friday, 26th January, from 7pm to 9pm. Arriving at Newcastle West Church at 9:30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 27th January, at 2pm. Burial afterwards in Monagea Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Terence (Terry) Butler, The Steeples, Upper William Street, late of Creagh Avenue, Kileely, suddenly at home. 

Deeply regretted by his wife Christina, sons Mark & Terence, daughter Sharon, all other relatives & friends.

Reposing at Cross' Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Friday (Jan.26th) from 5pm followed by removal at 6.30pm to St. Munchin's Church, Clancy Strand. Requiem Mass Saturday (Jan.27th) at 10am with funeral afterwards to Mount St. Lawrence (old) Cemetery.

The death has occurred of John Finucane, Sandylane, Boher, peacefully at Millbrae Lodge Nursing Home. 

Beloved husband of the late Ann, loving father to Orla, Triona, Àine, Sinèad and James. Pre deceased by his brothers Michael, Vincent and Joe. John, will be sadly missed by his brothers Karl and Ignatius, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Cross’ Funeral Home, Ballyneety, Saturday (Jan. 27th) from 5pm followed by removal at 8pm to St. Nicholas’ Church, Boher. Requiem Mass on Sunday (Jan.28th) at 10am with funeral afterwards to Abington Cemetery, Murroe.

The death has occurred of Josephine Gleeson (née O'Meara), Boherbawn, Capparoe, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Annagh, Lisnagry, peacefully at the University Hospital Limerick. 

Sadly missed by her loving husband John Joe, daughter Anne, son in law Denis, grandchildren, Aoife and Claire, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Keller's Funeral Home Nenagh on Friday 26th January from 6 p.m. with removal at 7.30 p.m. to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Silvermines. Requiem Mass on Saturday 27th at 11 a.m., burial afterwards in Kilmore Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Philip Patrick O'Sullivan, Castleview, Newcastle West, late of Ballingaddy, Kilmallock and Carrigkerry. 

Survived by wife Margaret, daughter Susan, sons John and David, daughter-in-law, sister, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Reidy's Funeral Home, Newcastle West on Friday, 26th January, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Arriving at Newcastle West Church at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 27th January, at 11:30am with burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Sinon Callinan, Caherdavin, Co. Limerick and formerly of Labasheeda Co. Clare, peacefully at Milford Hospice Limerick. 

Deeply regretted by his partner Madeline Grace, daughter Maria Ryan (Strand Hill, Co Sligo), son in law Ian, grandchildren Sara, Niamh and Emma, relatives and friends. May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing this Thursday evening at Milford Hospice Mortuary from 5pm with removal at 7pm to the Church of Christ the King Caherdavin. Requiem Mass at 11.30 am on Friday with burial afterwards in Kilofin cemetery Labasheeda

The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) Feerick, Ballykeefe Estate, Limerick and Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo, peacefully in loving and dignified care of the staff of Abbot Close Nursing Home, Askeaton. 

Deeply regretted by loving wife Maureen, sisters Annie Fitzgerald (Tralee), Mary Duggan (Dundalk), brothers John (Ballinrobe), Tom (Cappaquinn) extended family and friends. Predeceased by his sister Bidgin and brother Emmett.

Reposing at Downey’s Funeral Home, Pallaskeny, Thursday from 4pm to 5pm with removal to St John the Baptist Church, Kilcornan. Requiem Mass Friday at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilcornan Cemetery. No flowers please, donations if desired to the Alzheimers Society.
