Deaths in Limerick - December 21, 2017

The death has occurred of Mary Curran, 19 Tearmann Ui Chaiomh, Mitchelstown and formerly of Cullane, Ballylanders, at St. Patrick's Hospital, Fermoy. 

Predeceased by her brother Patsy. Sadly missed by her loving sisters Kitty Boland and Bridie Mc Grath, brother-in-law Johnny, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, niece, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Ryan's Funeral Home, Ballylanderson Friday evening, from 6p.m. Removal at 8p.m. to The Church of The Assumption, Ballylanders. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11.30a.m. Burial afterwards in Ballylanders Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Mary Lane, 21, Smith O'Brien Avenue, Kileely, late School Warden, Hassett's Cross & former employee of I.S.S, suddenly at home.

Beloved daughter of Maisie and adored mother of Evan & Sarah. Deeply regretted by her family, sisters Deborah, Kathleen, Julie & Shirley, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, other relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cross' Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Friday from 5pm followed by removal at 6pm to St. Lelia's Church, Ballynanty. Requiem Mass, Saturday at 10am with funeral afterwards to Mount St. Lawrence (ext.) Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Mary McCarthy, Osmington Terrace, Thomondgate,  late assistant Matron St. John Hospital, peacefully at Milford Care Centre.

Sadly missed by her brother Gerry, nephew Pádraig, sister-in-law Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Friday evening from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by removal to St Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 9.30am with burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Mary Moriarty-Leahy (née Davoren), Ministerland, Ardagh and formerly of Brick Lodge, Clarina, peacefully at her residence.

Survived by her husband Seán and children Ken, Caroline and Brian, sister Anne, brothers Liam, Sean, Pat and James, grandchildren, uncle Fr. Joe Kennedy, extended Davoren, Leahy and Moriarty families, relatives and friends.

Reposing at St. Molua's Church, Ardagh on Friday from 4.30pm until 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11 30am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Maurice (Mossie) Dore, 31 Beechwood Avenue, Newcastle West and late of Ballyclovane, Monagea and Maiden St., Newcastle West, in the loving care of Stephen, Orla and staff at St Catherine's Nursing Home. 

Survived by his cousins, neighbours, relatives and friends. Reposing at St Catherine's Nursing Home, Newcastle West on Thursday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Arriving at Newcastle West Church at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11.30am with burial afterwards in Monagea Cemetery.
