Deaths in Limerick - December 20, 2017

THE death has occurred of Patrick (Spud) Cronin, Garnalina, Galbally, suddenly.

Deeply regretted by his partner Martina, sons Alex and Jayden, daughter Lacey, father Paddy, mother Geraldine, brother Mark, sisters Denise and partner Ger, Tina and partner Shane and Jacqueline, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles extended family relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence Thursday afternoon from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral arriving at Galbally Church Friday morning at 11.15am for 11.30am Mass. Burial afterwards in local cemetery.

The death has occurred of Carmel Hogan (née Cronin), Kile Fea, Croom and late of Collinstown, Bruff, peacefully at her home.

Very deeply regretted by her husband Ger, daughters Susan and Marie, sons Liam and Mike and their partners, adoring grandchildren, Edward, Chloe, Leah, Gavin and Emma, brothers Tony and Mike, sister Kitty, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, kind neighbours and her many friends.

Reposing this Thursday evening at Daffy’s Funeral Home, Croom from 6pm until 7.30pm. Remains arriving on Friday morning for 12 noon requiem Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Croom with burial immediately afterwards in Reilig Mhuire, Croom.

The death has occurred of Mary Christina McNamara, Vizes Court, St Joseph’s Street, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.

Deeply regretted by her loving sister Rita (Curtin) nephews Tony and his wife Stasia, Billy, Brendan and Declan and his wife Shirley , niece Carmel and her husband Derek, grandnephews, grandnieces, great grandnephew, great grandniece, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Thursday evening from 5.30pm to 7pm followed by removal to St Joseph’s Church, O’ Connell Avenue. Requiem Mass on Friday at 10.30am followed by private cremation at Shannon Crematorium.

The death has occurred of Rose Hanrahan (née Murray), New Road, Thomondgate.

Beloved wife of the late Michael and dearest sister of Evelyn (Kenny), Helen (Carmody), Kathleen, Chrissie (Collins) and the late Paddy, Irene and Ann. Sadly missed by her loving nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Griffin's Funeral Home, John's Gate on Friday from 5pm. Removal at 6.30pm to St. Munchin’s Church. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11.30am. Burial after in Ballycannon Cemetery, Meelick.

The death has occurred of Christine (Cuggie) Kittler (née Byrnes), Creagh Avenue, Kileely and late of Keane St. Killalee, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick. 

Wife of the late Christy. Deeply by daughters Zelpha and Gloria, son Corry, grandchildren Evan, Josh, Ophelia, Allegra, Orion, Keeva, Dylan, brothers Noel and Fr. John Byrnes, sister Kathleen Hannan, sons-in-law Arup and John, daughter-in-law Sharon all other relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cross' Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street on Thursday from 5pm followed by removal at 6.30pm to St Munchin's Church Clancy Strand.Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am with burial afterwards in Mount St. Lawrence (Ext.) Cemetery.
