Recent deaths in Limerick – December 16-18, 2016

The death has occurred of Margaret (Peggy) Fiztgerald (née Giltenane), of Tubber, Murroe, Limerick, and Adare and District Nursing Home, Croagh, this Sunday, December 18, 2016, peacefully, at The University Hospital, Limerick.

Beloved wife of the late Gerard, deeply regretted by her loving son Eamonn, daughter Geraldine, son in law Paul Neville, grandsons Alex and Geordan, sister in law Ann (Giltenane), nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Meehan's funeral home Newport this Monday evening, December 19, from 5.30 p.m., with removal at 7.30 p.m. to the church of the Holy Rosary Murroe. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, December 20 at 11.30 a.m., burial afterwards in Clonkeen cemetery.

The death has occurred of Gerrard Wrenn, Knockanaire, Tournafulla, Limerick, better known as Ger or Rod, after a very short illness. He passed away peacefully, on Saturday, December 17, 2016. Survived by his sisters Kay, Sheila and Eileen, brothers Joe, Johnny, Chris and Liam, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and extended family.

Reposing at his residence in Knockanaire, Monday evening from 6pm until 9pm with removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Tournafulla, at 9pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Donations to Limerick Cancer Unit or flowers if desired. Enquiries to Roches’s Undertakers, Tournafulla 087-6258595

The death has occurred of Mary Cremin (née O'Gorman), of Coolaleen, Broadford, Limerick, peacefully at her home.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband John, family - Maurice, Con, Miriam, Mairéad and Bosco, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, sister Eily Ryan, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Sexton's Funeral Home, Broadford on Sunday from 6pm with removal at 8pm to Our Lady of the Snows Church, Broadford. Requiem Mass on Monday at 12.30pm. Burial afterwards in Springfield Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Mary Kavangh, née Doyle, of Rosslare, Wexford, and Castletroy, Limerick, on December 16, 2016, at Knockeen Nursing Home.

The loving wife of Pat and mother of John, Eamon, Ger, Bridget and David; deeply regretted by her heartbroken husband, sons and daughter, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, brothers, sisters, grandchildren and great-grandchild nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Knockeen Nursing Home on Sunday, December 18, from 2pm until 6pm with removal at 6pm to St. Brigid’s Church Rosslare. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am with interment in Craanford Cemetery Co. Wexford. Family flowers only.
