The death has occurred of William (Willie) O’Shea, Carrig Drive, Dooradoyle, Limerick and formerly of 24 Henry Street.

April 6th 2026 peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.

Beloved husband of Betty. Dearly loved father of David, Liam and Paul. Adored granddad to Cara, Aislinn and Ada. Sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Dolores and Eimear, Liam’s partner Susan, brother John, sister Mary, nephew, nieces, extended family and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at St. Paul’s Church, Dooradoyle on Wednesday (8th April) from 5pm to 6.30pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday (9th April) at 11.30am followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Catherine (Kit) O’Connor (née O’Keeffe), Lower Road, Athea, Co. Limerick, formerly of Harrow, London who passed away peacefully in University Hospital Kerry on Easter Sunday, 5th April 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Catherine (Kit) will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Michael, her devoted children, Edmund, Helen, Michael, Joseph, and Clare, daughters in law, Alina, Liz, and Katherine, and son in law Roger, her adored grandchildren, great grandchildren, close family and friends.

May Kit Rest In Peace.

Reposing at St. Bartholomew’s Church, Athea (V94 HP92) on Tuesday, 7th April from 6.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m.

Requiem Mass for Kit will be celebrated at St. Bartholomew’s Church, Athea on Wednesday, 8th April at 12.00 p.m. Interment afterwards in Holy Cross Cemetery, Athea.

The death has occurred of Luke Kiernan, Old Park Road, Corbally, Limerick, originally Borris, Co. Carlow. Late Pharmacist, Thomondgate and member of Limerick Golf Club.

In the exceptional care of Milford Care Centre, on 5th April, 2026.

Beloved husband of the late Breda.

Luke will be sadly missed by his loving children, Deirdre, Niall, Vivienne, Louise & Dermot, grandchildren Aoife, Luke and Leah, Natalie and Séan, Oisín, Brónagh and Nessa, Eva, Blaithín and Moya, Saibh, Daniel, Aodhín and Ólan, great-grandchildren Giulio, Santiago and Nicolò, daughter-in-law Sarah, sons-in-law Brian McNamara, Neil Kelly and Greg Larkin, brother-in-law Charlie Mulqueen, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Pre-deceased by his siblings Sean, Frank and Mary.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate, on Tuesday, 7th April from 5pm to 6:30pm. Funeral to arrive to St. Mary’s Church, Athlunkard Street on Wednesday, 8th April for Requiem Mass at 11:30am. Burial afterwards in Mount St. Lawrence (Ext.) Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Kathleen (Kay) Dowling (Née Doran) Newrath, Late of George's Street, Waterford and Ballybrown, Clarina, Co. Limerick, who died on Sunday 5th April 2026, aged 91 Years

Kay passed away peacefully in the tender care of her loving family and all the staff in The South East Palliative Care Centre, Oak Ward, University Hospital Waterford, predeceased by her parents Frank and Bridget, sisters Anna, Phil and Tessie, brothers Willie and Francie.

Kay will be sadly missed by her loving husband Tony, her beloved children Paul, Liam, Alan, Karl and Liz (Spencer), daughters in law Relly, Ann, Ruth and Janice, son-in-law Jeff, grandchildren Keani, Keegan, Kate, Ryan, Craig, Becky, Amy, Alanna, Jack, Dáire, Kayleigh, Karla, Geoff and Ella, great granddaughter Penny, sister Rosari (Murphy), brother-in-law Barry, sister-in-law Anna (Dowling), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Kay will be reposing in Power's Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Wednesday 8th April, from 5.30pm until 7.30pm, Kay's removal will take place on Thursday 9th April, to St. Senan's Church, Kilmacow, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am, after which Kay will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Elizabeth (Liz) Clifford, Meelick, Co. Clare and formerly of Caherdavin, Limerick, and London, England.

Passed away peacefully at Milford Care Centre, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Fonnie and Pauline, her brother Tony and sister Sarah Jayne.

Much loved wife of John Dillon and a beloved and devoted mother to Lee, Taylor, Tara, Hayley and Kacie.

Deeply regretted by her husband, son, daughters, brothers Peter, Frankie, Johnny, Paul and Michael, sisters Maria, Maureen, Rachel, Suzie and Jennie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.

The death has occurred of Cora Allen, Mercier Park, Turners Cross, Cork and formerly of London and Limerick. 

On April 1st. 2026, unexpectedly, at home, Cora (née HAYES), beloved wife of Peter. Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, sister-in-law Maria, brothers-in-law Thomas and John, nieces and nephews and their families, relatives, neighbours and friends.
