The death has occurred of Kathleen (Kay) Timmes (née Houlihan), Gortnagross, Athea, Limerick.

Kathleen passed away peacefully while holding the hands of her children, in Hingham, Massachusetts, USA, on 27th of December 2025. 

Predeceased by her parents Michael Houlihan (Newcastle West) and Kathleen Wrenn (Athea), her husband John and their son John Matthew.

Kathleen is deeply regretted by her son Peter, daughters Eileen, Kathy, Clare and Margaret,daughter-in-law Jill, sons-in-law Barry, Steven and Paul, Kathy’s partner Matt, grandchildren Connor, Teagan, Fiona, Isabel, Cassidy, Luke, Eileen and Alice, other relatives and a wide selection of friends on both sides of the Atlantic.

Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday 21st of March 2026 at 11.00a.m., in Saint Bartholomew's Church, Athea, followed by burial later that day in Templeathea Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Mary Russell (née Finucane), Plassey Avenue, Corbally, Limerick and formerly of Foynes, Co. Limerick.

March 15th 2026 peacefully, in the loving care of Athlunkard House Nursing Home in her 102nd year.

Beloved wife of the late Denis. Dearly loved mother of Anne. Sadly missed by her loving son-in-law Gerard, her cherished grandchildren Alana and Denis, extended family and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Tuesday (17th March) from 4pm to 5.30pm. Funeral arriving at St. Nicholas' Church, Westbury on Wednesday (18th March) for Requiem Mass at 11.30am followed by burial in Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Kevin Neville, St Mary’s, 82 Mayorstone Gardens, Limerick. V94 DX03. Late of Limerick Lawn Tennis Club.

March 15th 2026 peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.

Beloved husband of Jane. Sadly missed by his loving sisters Marie, Bernadette and Pauline, brothers Anthony, Ger and Joe, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his home on Thursday (19th March) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral arriving at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road on Friday (20th March) for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by cremation service in Shannon Crematorium at 1pm.

The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Liz) McDonogh (née Joyce), Rosbrien Road, Co. Limerick.

March 15th 2026, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick, following a long illness.

Beloved wife of the late Declan. Much loved mother of David and Peter, adored granny of Lauren, Gareth, Phoebe and Pippa and proud great granny of Tommy and Max. Deeply regretted by her daughters-in-law Jean and Pauline, by her sister Marian (Galway), brother-in-law Pádraig, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Wednesday (18th March) from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving at St. Nessan’s Church Raheen on Thursday (19th March) for Requiem Mass at 2.30pm with burial afterwards in Castlemungret Cemetery.

March 15th 2026 (peacefully) in the loving care of the Aisling Ward, St. Camillus' Hospital.

Pre-deceased by infant daughter Mona and son Philip.

Beloved husband of Eileen and dearly loved father of Kay, Avril, Jennifer, Vivienne, Martin, John and Jim.

James will be sadly missed by his family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, other relatives, wide circle of friends and also members of St. John's Brass and Reid and Boherbuoy Bands.

The death has occurred of Gráinne (Mary) McCann (nee Forde), Daresbury Close, Sale Moor, Manchester, and formerly of Corbally, Limerick.

Peacefully at home in her 105th year on 19th Feb. 2026.

Predeceased by her husband Jack and her parents. Sadly missed by her nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and friends in Manchester, Limerick, London, New Zealand.

May she rest in peace.

Funeral mass will take place in the Holy Family Church Sale on 31st March at 10am, followed by cremation at Altrincham Crematorium. 

The ashes will be repatriated to Ireland and interred in the Bonynge Family plot at Mount St. Lawrence cemetery, Limerick, in a private ceremony.

The death has occurred of Fintan Coleman, Gleann Oisin, Ludden Beg, Ballyneety, Co. Limerick and formerly of Dun Mhuire, South Circular Road, Limerick

Peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, on March 15th 2026

Former Secretary of South Liberties GAA Club and late of Bobby Byrnes, O’Connell Avenue.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Kate, daughter Máire, infant son Kevin and granddaughter, Esther.

Sadly missed by his sons Michael and Fintan, daughters Trish (Montgomery), Tina (Mullane), Lisa, Erika (Shanley), Rachel (Godfrey) and Ruth (James), daughters-in-law Andrea and Ann, sons-in law Gerry, Eddie, Ger, Andy, Seán and Kev, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Mary Rita Baker nee Killeen (Meta), Cratloe, Limerick and England. Passed away on 16th February 2026 aged 94 years.

Wife to the late Brian, adored mum to Michelle, Sean and Liam, Dave and Paula, Grandmother to Joe, Luke, Lauren, Jack, Conor, Katie, Emily, Marc, Elliot, Em, Lily, Alan and Callum, Great Grandmother to C.J., brothers Batt and Foncie, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Requiem mass will be held at Cratloe Church, on Thursday 19th March 2026 at 11:00am followed burial at Craughan cemetery.
