The death has occurred of Carmel Mulcair Nèe Giblin, Ballyengland, Askeaton, Co. Limerick who passed away peacefully at University Hospital Limerick on 1st March 2026.

Pre-deceased by her Husband Tom, Son TJ, Sister Angela and Brother Tom.

Deeply regretted by her Sons Paul & John, Daughters In Law Michelle & Aideen, Grandchildren Molly, Kelly, Alice & TJ, Brother Oliver, Sisters In Law Irene & Kathleen, Nieces, Nephews, Neighbours & Friends.

Reposing at her Son Paul's house at Ballyengland, Askeaton (V94 VX98) on Tuesday 3rd March from 6pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 4th March 2026 at 11am in St. Mary's Church, Askeaton followed by burial afterwards in Kilmoylan Graveyard Shanagolden.

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Pauline Maher, Ballysimon Court and formerly Punches Close and Roundwood, Rosbrien, Limerick and Ex Howmedica, Raheen.

On February 28th 2026, after a short illness, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre deceased by parents Breda and Richard Maher.

Always loved and sadly missed by her sisters Annette and Patricia, brothers-in-law Teddy and Paddy, nieces Carol, Elizabeth, Anna, Vivienne, Catherine (Melbourne) and Niamh (Melbourne), nephews Tim and Colin (Melbourne), close friend Majella, other relatives, friends and neighbours.

Requiem Mass will take place Wednesday, March 4th, at 11am, funeral afterwards to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen Duhig late of Uregare, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick who passed away peacefully at Beechlodge Care Facility, Bruree on 28th February 2026 in her 102nd year.

Predeceased by her husband James, daughter Anne, sons Garry and Val, and her beloved granddaughter Aoife Halpin.

Very sadly missed by her daughter Helen, sons-in-law Tom and Ben, grandchildren Mark, Fergal, Ruairidh and Sadhbh, granddaughters-in-law Fiona and Sinéad, great-grandchildren Tom, Lily, Sienna and Hugo, and a wide circle of relatives, friends and good neighbours.

Eileen will repose at Butler's Funeral Home, Bruff this Tuesday evening, 3rd March, from 5:30 pm with removal to The Holy Trinity Church, Dromin at 7 pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 4th March, at 12 noon followed by burial in Dromin Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Denis Crowe, New Ross, Co. Wexford / Cappamore, Co. Limerick.

Denis, son of the late Matthew and Agnes and brother of the late Séamus (Jim), Peggy and Breda, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, 1st March.

He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Mairéad; his cherished children Mark, Emer, Úna, Siobhán and Shane; adored grandchildren Ben, Anya, Ólan, Caragh, Cormac, Lana and Conall; his sons-in-law George and Ryan and his daughter-in-law Charon. 

Sadly missed by his brothers and sisters Paddy, Willie, Timmy, Joan, Mari and Sr. Thérèse-Marie, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends, and by the wonderful staff of Signacare New Ross, who cared for him with such kindness and dedication.
