The death has occurred of Michael Breen

Formerly of Garrydoolis and Hospital. On August 28, 2025, peacefully; following wonderful care in Ashlawn, Nursing Home, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. Predeceased by his loving wife Kathleen (Kay). He will be sadly missed by his children; Carmel, Fiona, Valerie and Triona, grandchildren; Shane, Ciara, Aoibheann, Bobby, Leah, Shauna, Darragh, Saoirse and Aisling, sisters; Mairéad and Ursula, sons-in-laws, brother-in-law; Pat, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his loving parents William and Elizabeth and his sisters; Sr. Mary Carmel (Mary P.) and Joan.

Reposing at O' Leary's Funeral Home, Hospital on Sunday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Michael's requiem Mass will take place on Monday at 11.30am in St. Brigid's Church, Templebraden, V94 N5Y3 and can also be viewed online at https://lifeisariver.com/. Burial afterwards in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tipperary. Family flowers only please.

The death has occurred of Sean Buckley

Of Springfield Drive, Dooradoyle Limerick and formerly of Emmet Place. Late of Limerick Fire Service, Siptu and local radio.

On August 29t, 2025 peacefully at Caherass Nursing Home.

Beloved husband of the late Deirdre. Dearly loved father of Clodagh, Eoin and Eimear. Sadly missed by his son-in-law Phil, daughter-in-law Sinead, Eimear’s partner Chris, his cherished grandchildren Joseph, Rose and Lily, brothers and sisters Julia, Mary, Alec, Rose, Pa and Joe, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Sunday, August 31 from 4.30pm to 6pm. Funeral arriving at St Joseph’s Church, O’Connell Avenue on Monday, September 1 for requiem Mass at 12.30pm, followed by burial in Crecora Cemetery.

Of Hillview Drive, Caherconlish

Morgan passed peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his loving family on August 27, 2025

Predeceased by his wife Breda, son Pa, brothers Paud and Hughie and this year his brother-in-law Joe.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughters Rose, Eileen, Biddy, Mary, Margaret, Angela and Susan, sons Morgan and Sean, sons-in-law Mike, Cecil, John H, John R, Patsy, daughter-in-law Michelle, brothers Eamon and Sean, sisters May and Margaret, thirteen cherished grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, cousins, other relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Ballyneety, on Sunday, August 31, from 6pm to 8pm.

Funeral will arrive on Monday, September 1, at Our Lady, Mother of the Church, Caherconlish, for requiem Mass at 12.00pm, funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.

Of Tenekilla, Ballyhahill

Gertrude (Gertie) O’ Brien (née Trant) passed away suddenly but peacefully on Thursday, August 28, 2025. Predeceased by her husband Den and her adored daughter Edel. Gertie will be forever loved and remembered by her brother Paddy, sisters Mary and Geraldine, sisters-in-law Kathleen, Jose and Mary, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Church of The Visitation, Ballyhahill on Sunday, August  31from 6pm until 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Monday, September 1 at 12noon. Burial afterwards in Kilfergus Cemetery, Glin.

Reposing at Ryan and White's Funeral Home, Pallasgreen, V94 VYH6 on Sunday evening from 5:30pm until 7:30pm. Arriving in the Church of St. John the Baptist, Nicker on Monday morning at 11am for requiem Mass at 11.30 am with burial afterwards in St. Columba’s cemetery, Pallasgreen.

Of Deerpark, Sixmilebridge and Caherdavin

Peacefully at St. Michael's Nursing Home, Caherconlish on August 27, 2025.

Predeceased by her parents Stephen and Bridget.

Sadly missed by her son Stephen, sisters Eileen and Anne, brothers Gerard, Sean and Paul, Stephen's father Tony, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews. nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Maura's gentle soul rest in peace.

Maura will repose in McMahons funeral home Sixmilebridge this Sunday, August 31 from 5pm to 6:30pm. Arriving for funeral Mass in St. Finnachtas Church, Sixmilebridge, on Monday, September 1 at 11am followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium at 1pm.

Predeceased by his sisters Mary O'Dwyer and Kathleen O'Gorman, brother Richard, son Patrick and son-in-law Andrew Faughnan.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Bríd (née Hayes, Ballycurrane, Patrickswell), daughter Sinéad and son Richard. Sadly missed by his brother Patrick, sister Sr.Margaret (South Africa), daughter-in-law Jean, grandchildren Stephen, Ewan, Sam, Lily, Jack, Emma, Ailbhe and Lucy, great-grandson Sean, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.
