The death has occurred of Rory (Patrick) Malone

Marian Ave, Janesboro, Limerick, late of Krups and Charlie Malone's Pub, Wolfe Tone Street

August 23, 2024, peacefully surrounded by his family at Milford Care Centre.Beloved husband of Christine. Dearly loved father of Deborah, Trish, Edward and Ciaran. Sadly missed by his sons-in-laws Eamon and Tony, daughter-in-law Aundrea, his beloved grandchildren, his brother Michael and his sisters Diane and Miriam, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. And his beloved dog Buddy.

May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Thomas Street this Sunday, August 25, from 4.30 pm to 6pm. Funeral arriving at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Janesboro, Limerick on Monday, August 26, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by cremation service in Shannon Crematorium at 2pm.

Family flowers only please.

The death has occurred of Mary McCarthy (née Collins)

Dromtrasna South, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick, formerly of Banogue, Co. Limerick.

Passed away peacefully following a short illness, at the palliative care unit, University Hospital Limerick, with her family by her side, on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Pre-deceased by her husband Tom (June 8, 2024), her parents Maurice and Catherine, daughter Aisling and great-grand-daughter Braelyn, sister Margaret, brothers Michael, Paddy and Dan. Mary is very sadly missed by her sons Trevor and Ian, daughters Caroline and Ann, brother Jimmy, daughters-in-law Niamh and Brona, grandchildren Seamus, Scott, Rhys, Lorna, Abby, Julie and Sadie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, all her other relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Sunday, August 25, from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral cortège will depart Mary’s Home on Monday, August 26, at 10.30am en route to The Church of the Assumption, Abbeyfeale to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Requiem Mass will be live-streamed here.

Interment afterwards in Reilig Íde Naofa, Abbeyfeale.

The death has occurred of Nancy McGrath (nee Ryan)

Woodville, North Circular Road, Limerick and formerly of Lattin, Co. Tipperary.

Nancy passed away in the excellent care of the Park Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 23, 2024.

Pre-deceased by her husband Joseph.

Sadly missed by her loving children Michael, Tony, Marie, Rose and Paul, sister Phyllis, brother George, daughters-in-law Carmel, Therese and Lisa, sons-in-law Pat and John, her nine grandchildren David, Cal, Emily, Darragh, Cian, Conor, Joe, Noah and Bobbie, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home John’s Gate, on Sunday, August 25, from 4:30pm to 6pm.

Funeral will arrive at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road on Monday, August 26, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterward in Ballingaddy Cemetery, Kilmallock.

The death has occurred of Bernadette Mulready (née Mulcahy)

The Gables, Rathbane and late of Garryglass Avenue, Ballinacurra Weston and Ex Krups Engineering, Limerick.

On August 23, 2024, peacefully, at University Hospital, Limerick, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her parents and siblings.

Sadly missed by her loving husband John, daughter Suzanne and son Thomas, son-in-law Damien, grand daughter Clara, sisters Teresa, Anne, Betty, Rita, Susan and Alice, brother Noel, sister-in-law Marie, nephews and nieces, other relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, on Saturday, August 24, from 3pm to 4.30pm.

Funeral will arrive on Sunday, August 25, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Childers Road, for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm, funeral afterwards to Castlemungret Cemetery, Mungret. It will be live-streamed here.

Church Langley, Essex and formerly of Boher, Kilbehenny. Beloved husband of Bernie and loving father of Sue Conway and Steve. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Jim, daughter-in-law Sam, brother Danny, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Mikey’s Funeral Mass will take place in St. Joseph’s Church, Kilbehenny on Wednesday (August 28) at 11.30am followed by burial of his ashes in the church grounds.
