The death has occurred of Philomena Hession (née QUINLAN) of Nenagh Manor Nursing Home, Nenagh, Tipperary / Parteen, Limerick.

The death has occurred of Philomena Hession (née Quinlan) peacefully in the tender loving care of the Manor Nursing Home Nenagh. Beloved wife of the late Patrick Hession. Predeceased by her siblings Sheila, Mona, Michael, Paddy and Brendan. Deeply regretted by sisters in law (Christina Elizabeth and Maura), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Ryans Funeral Home, Nenagh this Tuesday from 5pm to 6:30pm with Rosary at 6pm.  Remains arriving at St.Mary's of the Rosary Church, Nenagh on Wednesday for Requiem mass at 11am, followed by burial in Lisboney New Cemetery.


The death has occurred of John Hickey of Elm Park, Clonmel, Tipperary / Galbally, Limerick

John Hickey, Elm Park, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and late of Galbally, Limerick, November 5, peacefully at his residence in the loving care of his family.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Catherine, daughters Geraldine, Sandra, Anita and Amanda, grandchildren Leah, Katie, Calum, Ellie, Cian. Ché and Evie, sisters Joanne and Bernie, brother Michael, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at O’Donoghues Funeral Home, Kickham Street, Clonmel on Wednesday evening from 5pm to 7pm. John’s Funeral will arrive at St Oliver’s’ Church on Thursday morning at 11.45am for Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by a Private Cremation service in Shannon Crematorium.

The death has occurred of Betty Kehoe (nee Duffy), 1 Rockspring Court, Clancy Strand, Limerick, suddenly, on November 3 in Carrigoran House, NewMarket on Fergus.

Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Anna, Mary and Therese, Son Kevin and loving Sister Mary (Malone).

Sadly missed also by her loving caregiver Catherine Shinners, her grandchildren; Jack, Zara & Conor and all extended family & friends.

November 5,peacefully at home. Beloved wife of the late Ted. Dearly loved mother of Kevin and Caroline.

Dearly missed by her loving daughter in law Jackie and son in law Oliver, her adored fifteen grandchildren, great grandson Rhys, her sister’s Josie and Sara, and brother Kevin, her nieces and nephews, extended family and friends especially her close four legged friend Louie.

The death has occurred of Willie Murphy of Greenhills, Dublin / Kilteely, Limerick

Murphy William (Willie), November 4, Greenhills and formerly of Kilteely, Limerick, unexpectedly, surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of the staff of ICU, St. James’s Hospital.

Beloved husband of Connie, loving dad of Martha, Conor, Ruth and Raymond, much-loved grandad of Aoife, Shannon, Anna, Éilís, Evelyn, Jane, Dara, Matthew, Adam and Rose and loving brother of Esther, Lil, Seán, Declan and the late Tom. Willie will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving wife, children, sons-in-law Marco and Pat, daughters-in-law Rachael and Ivy, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Rose O'Donnell (née Philpott) of Woodlawn Park, Ballysimon Road, Limerick City, Limerick

On November 5. Rose passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of Milford Care Centre

Predeceased by her brothers Christopher and Willie. Beloved wife of Richard and dearest mother of Sharon, Rose and Richard (Jnr) and their partners Mike, Morgan and Ellie, adored grandchildren. 

Amy, Shane, Conor and Roisín also sadly missed by sister Jeddy and brother Paddy, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends. ​​​​​​​

Predeceased by his parents James and Joan. Survived by his wife Mary, son Seamus and daughter Deirdre. Also mourned by his brother Seamus, sister-in-law Nora, nephews Damien, Conor, niece Joanne and grand-nephews James, Oisin and Charlie. 

Requiem Mass Wednesday, November 8 at 2.30pm in St. Colman’s Church, Macroom (P12VP20). Funeral afterwards to St. Colman’s Cemetery, Macroom.
