GARDAI have preserved a scene for technical examination on the southside of Limerick city this Sunday.
A man was rushed to hospital after suffering a reported stab wound shortly after 10.30am.
Following a query from Limerick Live, a garda spokesperson confirmed gardaí and emergency services responded to an incident at a residential property in the John Carew Park area of Limerick city.
“A man, aged in his 30s, was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“The scene is preserved for examination and inquiries are ongoing,” said a garda spokesperson.
