GARDAI have charged three persons arrested and detained following an incident in which a vehicle entered an unauthorised area of Shannon Airport.
It occurred at around 9.30am on Saturday morning. The vehicle was intercepted by security agencies on duty including An Garda Síochána, Óglaigh na hÉireann and the Airport Police Service, say gardai.

A garda spokesperson said on Saturday that two males and one female, all aged in their 20s, were arrested and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 in garda stations in County Clare.
This Sunday, a garda spokesperson said: "All three are due to appear before a special sitting of Ennis District Court this evening at 8:30pm."
Investigations are ongoing.
