LIMERICK gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a trespassing incident in Croom.
"On Tuesday, 30th September, at around 5pm, a male trespassed onto a property at Anhid West, Croom, near the N21 Croom Bypass," stated Sergeant Michelle O’Halloran, Crime Prevention Officer at Henry Street Garda Station.

"The man was disturbed by the owner’s dog and fled the scene on foot. He didn’t gain entry and nothing was taken," added Sgt O'Halloran. "The suspect is described as being of thin build, approximately 5’8” in height, wearing grey pants and a light grey hoodie."
Gardaí at Newcastle West are investigating and appealing for witnesses who may have seen this man. Please contact them on 069 20650.
The local crime prevention officer also advises homeowners to take simple home security measures to lock up, light up and set an alarm. "With evenings getting darker earlier, now is a good time to review your home security, check your lighting and locks, ensuring that doors and windows are locked and report any suspicious activity in your area."
